This week has been full of Doctor appointments...

A few weeks ago Logan went to see his Orthopedic Doctor for a regular checkup they did X-Rays of his pelvic to see how his joints are growing and everything came out good.

Last week we went to see his Neurologist so Logan could get hooked up for his at home 24hr EEG. It was so crazy his head was full of electrodes. He was pulling on the strings trying to get them off his head, He was falling down all over the place I think it through off his equilibrium having the electrodes and having his head wrapped. Trying to keep a 4 yr old occupied by not pulling on his head was very challenging.

We went to get his results on Monday and he was diagnosed as having Left Temporal Lobe Seizures. He was fine during the day it was all night. The Activity was very high. The Doctor raised his dose to 3.5 ml 2 times a day for now. She also wants to order him an MRI so we are waiting to get approval from the Insurance Co. His last MRI was when he was 1 yr old.

He also had a stroke on the left side of his brain when he was a baby so I asked if this had anything to do with his seizures and she said no it's just a coincidence.

Richard, Elizabeth and Alicia went to the Eye Doctor Tuesday for a check up both the girls eyes got worse so we got them new glasses they are so cute. We should get them in next week when we do I will take a picture and post. Richard's eye site only changed a little but his glasses are scratched so he will also be getting new glasses.

Thursday Logan had a check up with his Gastric Doctor he is doing really good eating more by mouth he will snack all day and sometimes I can get him to eat dinner and not even give him a G-Tube feeding. Just water and Meds. So the Doctor wants to change his feedings and formula he was on Nutren Jr w/fiber to Kid Essentials 1.5 w/fiber it has more calories and he will only be fed 3 times a day instead of 4-5 times. He wants him to eat more by mouth. He eats good you just have to starve him for 5 or 6 hours in order for him to eat a good meal. So this should help him.

Well it has been awhile since my last post so I thought I would catch everyone up on what has been going on. I post a lot on facebook but some of my family don't get a chance to go on there.

Right now everyone is healthy, Knock on wood. Elizabeth had her Tonsils out on November 19th. The first 8 days were awful she would not eat or drink, She got so dehydrated from not drinking I had to take her to the ER November 23rd. I can understand the not eating because her throat was sore but I tried everything I could to get her to drink, She was so week and so pale I was worried about her. So we took her in and she was dehydrated they hooked her up to an IV and gave her fluids and she looked so much better she really needed that extra push to get her going. Of course the next day I fight her again to drink even a small amount. For eight days it was a fight. I am so glad that is over and she is back to herself eating and drinking again.

On Thanksgiving day Logan had so many seizures. It was very scary his lips were blue and his sats were very low with a very high heart rate. I almost rushed him to the ER that's how bad I was freaking out. He continued to have them all day I tried giving him pedialyte and he would not keep anything in. He took a few naps on the floor because the seizures really wore him out. We go back to the Neurologist on December 12th to have a 24 EEG at home. Hopefully they can Diagnose him with what type of Seizures he is having.

He woke up Thanksgiving morning and was fine I gave him a bath got him dressed he played with his sisters for about 15 min. Then all of a sudden he starts to lay on the floor and does not move and just stares out into space. Richard picks him up and brings him down stairs and we put him on the couch and he is so limp and pale and will not move and now his lips are starting to turn blue I check his sats and his heart rate was 220 and his O2 Sat was 73. At first I thought it was his heart them I realized he was having a seizure.

This went on for most of the day. And by the end of the night around 7:30 after laying around all day taking naps he just snaps out of it gets up and starts running around like nothing ever happened. I did some research online and found other toddlers that experienced the same thing as Logan. So we will just have to wait and see what the Doctor has to say.

Logan had his EEG on Monday and we went yesterday to get the results and I was shocked and sad to hear them say his test did not go well. It showed him having a lot of activity (seizures) in the 26 minutes that he was asleep. She showed me all of the spikes and there was a lot. His Seizures are happening at night and who knows how long this has been going on for she could not tell me. Ever since he came home from the Hospital when he was three months old, he has been waking up several times during the night. I asked her could this have been because of the seizures she said probably. He wakes up every night 1-2 times. I thought it was because he was having night terrors, Now to find out it was him having a seizure. She put him on Keppra 2x a day 1.7 ml for one week. Then we up it to 2.5ml 2x a day and see how he does. If he is still waking up during the night he will have to be monitored at home with a device on his head while he is sleeping at night.

When she told me all of this I was so shocked I could not believe it, I was expecting her to say we did not find anything wrong. On the way home I had tears in my eyes. There are side affects to this drug so I am hoping everything will be ok with him. We go back in 4 weeks for another check up.

Everything is going good on our front. Logan has not had anymore seizures since his last episode. We see the Neurologist next Wednesday for his EEG.

It has been a month since I last posted. So wanted to say that the kids had a great first day of school. Everyone likes there teachers. The girls are now taking the Bus to and from school so we decided to buy them a cell phone, which I said we would never do. But they wanted to start taking the bus so I felt more comfortable with them having a phone on them. They each have one now. I was wanting to wait for Christmas but it was just to far off. They have been very responsible with it so far.

Logan also takes the bus to and from school. They come right to our house for pick up and drop off. So I love that part.

We bought a new computer we were sick of our old one we had since 2006. So I love our new one. It runs great. We still are using the other computer, the girls play on it. So it is nice having two computers, well nice for me anyway now I can print more coupons :)

Since the girls have started school they have been busy every weekend with birthdays and sleep overs. They have another Birthday party to go to on Monday which I think is kind of weird to have it on a school night it is from 5:45 till 8pm. So they will be going to that one to.

Elizabeth has a Check up with her Asthma Doctor today. Other than that no much has been going on just busy with school and lots of homework.

A lot has been going on this week. But the worse of it is that Logan had his first Seizure on Sunday. It was very scary. He was so unresponsive it really scared us all. He is doing so much better now.

Monday we went to get his 4 YR shots he was due to have 4 of them but because of the seizure the Doctor only gave him 2 and we go back in 2 months to get the other 2. Tuesday morning Logan woke up with a fever of 101 and was pretty much that way the rest of the day, It was because of his shots. He never gets a fever after shots but this time he did, I think it may have been the type of shot he got.

Tuesday we went to see his Neurologist Dr. Maller she is the best Alicia saw her when she had her seizure's when she was younger and Maller really took care of her. The Doctor wants Logan to have an EEG and the soonest they can get him in is September 13th. I was like that is really far off, but the Doctor said it was not urgent. Of course I disagree.

Wednesday we went to see his Cardiologist Dr. Acherman. Logan had an EKG and an Echo everything looked good, his valve is still leaky but is very mild. His next Hearth Cath will not be until 2015 so I am very excited about that.

Today we went to Precision Orthotics do get measured for special shoes so he can wear over his SMO's. I found a cute blue pair they are on back order so I will be getting them the second week of September.

Tomorrow is Open House at the school where we get to meet the teachers and drop off school supplies. The kids start school on Monday I am really excited for them. The girls will be going into 5th grade and Logan will be in his second year of Pre-School.

So I am going to try and get better on posting on my blog more often I promise.

The girls had there friend Alexis spend the night the last 2 nights so tonight it is time for her to go home. They have had a fun past couple of days playing.

Sunday Richard and I will be Celebrating our 12 Year Anniversary, I tell Richard 12 long agonizing years...lol but if he can put up with me then he is a pretty amazing husband. We plan on going to the movies and a nice dinner.

Logan slept in till 10am this morning that is the longest he has ever slept, I could not believe it. So I decided to make him 2 waffles with butter and syrup trying to add on extra calories and he ate almost all of it. So no G-Tube feeding for breakfast I am so excited YEAH for Logan. So we will see what happens for lunch...

Last week we went to R.C. Willey and looked around for Bedroom Furniture and ended up buying a new Dresser 2 night stands and a new King size Temper-Pedic Bed we love it and sleep so much better, our other Mattress was 12 years old we bought it when we got married so it was time for a new one.

This Summer has just flown by the kids go back to School Monday August 29th. I can not believe the girls will be starting 5th Grade and Logan will be in his second year of Preschool. The ,kids are getting so big and growing up so fast gosh I feel old.

It has been awhile since I last blogged so I will try and catch up on everything. I do most of my posting on Facebook. The second week of July we went to California and spent time with my family we went to Huntington Beach and spent the entire day there the next day was spent in Redlands at Pharaoh's Adventure Park they have an awesome water park we all had so much fun, Logan loved it.

I had to take Logan to the Orthopedic Doctor because he is not walking properly he has been walking on the inside of his arch so they made Special Orthopedic Shoes for him they should be ready nest week.

Logan has been doing really good. His Heart is doing great no problems at all we see his Cardiologist in 2 weeks for a check up everything should go fine. He is talking so much more and eating more by mouth. He still gets his G-Tube feedings every three hours but he is getting less milk.

Logan turned 4 Yesterday and we celebrated his Birthday on Sunday some friends came over and helped us celebrate. He was so excited to open up his presents. He really is our little miracle :)

The girls are doing great, been busy hanging out with there friends. Richard is still working a lot of hours. We will celebrate our 12 year Anniversary this Friday. We will be going out with no kids so I am looking forward to that :)

Our Neighbor Hosted this year's 4th July Party and Brad you did such a great job we had so much fun. There was so much food and a lot of people showed up to enjoy the fireworks. We started at 8:30 and stopped at midnight Our entire street lit up the sky, It was a blast.

Logan did not do so good when the Fireworks started he just cried and screamed. So I ended up going home giving him a quick bath and put him to bed he slept through the entire thing I could not believe he did not wake up.

The kids had a great time, I always enjoy hanging out with our friends and neighbors. It was hot and really humid.

I have a funny story to tell you.

Richard wanted to let off some fireworks during the day on the 4th so we were all out front, but for some reason Logan wanted to go inside the house through the garage door he walks in the house and locks it then walks through the laundry room door which leads to the family room and he shuts the door. Well after doing this he can not open the door because there is a safety handle on it. So after a few minutes of him walking in I wanted to go check on him I try to open the door and it would not open I yell at Logan to unlock it (he knows how now) and nothing, I hear no noise so I start to freak out because all of the doors in the house are locked and all of the keys are inside the house. Richard jumps the gate to get in the back yard and he see's Logan sitting on the rocking chair with his hands behind his head and he's watching Spong Bob. (can you believe that stinker) So Richard try's to get Logan's attention to come over to the sliding door to try and get him to unlock it, after 10 minutes Logan finally unlocks the back sliding door. Richard comes out and tells me what happened and I start busting up laughing. Needless to say we went to Home Depot and had a key made and hid it in the garage so this does not happen again.

I know I know I am such a slacker....
Not much has been going on though so that is a good thing, If something goes on I always post it on Facebook.

This past month has flown by the kids got out of School on June 9th and have been driving me crazy ever since. They had there 10th Birthday Party at the Skating Palace on June 11th there friends from School showed up and they had a great time they really made out got lots of gift cards and money from family. We celebrated Father's Day at my Mom's house. The girls Birthday happened to fall on Father's Day this year so we had a Barbecue.

The next day after the girls Birthday Party they came down with Strep Throat, then Logan and I got a bad cold it took over a week to get rid of. I am so glad we are all healthy now.

Last week we had Tile installed in both bathrooms upstairs, they did a really good job everything looks really nice.

Richard got home this morning so he has 4 days off which I am excited about. get to spend some time together.

Next weekend Richard is taking a few days off because we are going to California to visit family then we are going to Huntington Beach on Saturday, then Sunday we are going to the water park. The kids are really excited just a mini vacation. Want to get away from the heat in Vegas.

Other than that everyone is doing good. My Neighbor is having a block Party/Barbecue Monday then we plan on letting off a lot of Illegal Fireworks. LOL

This past weekend we all had a great time. But I am sad to say our next door Neighbor who we are good friends with is moving to Colorado. A couple of families on our block all went over to his Brother's house and had a going away party. Lots of people showed up to wish them well. They will be missed. The girls went swimming all day and Logan just mingled with everyone chatting and dancing he was a hoot.

We are always having block party's on our street will this time it's our turn to host, well actually I volunteered I love having people over. It will be a Memorial/B-day get together. My Dad's Birthday is Saturday, My cousin Jeni is Sunday and my Neighbor's is Monday. So there will be a lot of people over on Sunday. Richard will be Barbecuing Chicken and everyone will bring a dish.

Everyone is doing good around here, Elizabeth is working on her last School project for Social Studies and it is do Friday. I have been helping her I did all the typing, I know don't judge me :)

Logan is a little spit fire. He is like a sponge right now just repeats everything you say. The thing is he has no idea what he is saying and does not understand so we have been doing the best we can in trying to make him understand that we do not say mean words. Like Shut Up. Which he learned from his Sisters. They have been fighting a lot lately and he picks up on that and it has been driving me CRAZY... So I have been trying to learn patience which has been very hard.

I have Logan's I.E.P. meeting this Friday morning with his Teacher, I am really excited to find out how much he has progressed and to make new goals for him. I will let you all know what happens.

WOW this School year has really flown by, I can not believe there is only 3 weeks of School left, I am excited about it though. No more Homework, No more getting up early every morning, and a lot less stress. I AM SUPER EXCITED :)

This morning at School we got there early because today was Muffins with Mom day. We got there at 8:15 when they told us to show up and there was already a line and most of the muffins were gone. I got a bagel Alicia got Banana Nut and Elizabeth got Strawberry. Logan did not eat anything because he already had a G-tube feeding and I did not want him to throw up. I ate mine but the girls did not they hate muffins they only wanted to go because of me, which was very sweet. SO off to the cafeteria we went and they ate School Breakfast which i bought them. I was not going to send them to class on an empty stomach.

Two weeks ago Elizabeth received a Citizenship Award for showing outstanding citizenship. She got to eat lunch with the Principal, she also got to pick out a prize and she also received a free lunch at In N Out Burger. I was so proud of her. This is the second time she has received this award.

Alicia is doing very well in School she has shown so much improvement since she started 4th grade. She is really catching on in Math.

Everyone is doing great Logan is learning to walk up the stairs with help, and he is no longer needing the Wheelchair at School which is so exciting. I do bring a umbrella stroller for emergency's. The School requested that I do. When he comes home from taking the Bus he know comes out the front door and uses the step to come down with help of course. But he has come so far since he started School and has made leaps and bounds. We are all so proud of him :)

A weeks ago we decided to get rid of the Swing set because it was old and falling apart and get an above ground pool. The kids love it and want to swim every day. It is 12' feet wide and 36" deep as you can see that is all that will fit in our backyard otherwise we would have gotten a bigger one :)

Most of you know I love to coupon but since "Extreme Couponing" has come on the air I have really gotten back into it. I love to shop so this makes it all better because I can go and buy things and get it mostly for free. Now I am not like the ones you see on TV because here on the West Coast they do not double coupons so I do the best I can and order multiple inserts when I know there will be a good deal. In the morning when the kids are at School I spend a few hours on the computer looking for deals on Coupon boards and then hit the stores. I love it :)

I do have a small stock pile of health and beauty so I am good for awhile. If I could just find good deals on Food and have coupon's to go along with it, I would be great...

EASTER and SPRING BREAK

Brooklyn,Cierra, Diego and Logan

Last week was fun and crazy because it was Spring Break :)

The girls Best Friend Maddie spent the night three days in a row, if that tells you what a crazy week it was. I took them all to see RIO the movie and they loved it, it was very cute. We also made several trips to the park and spent basically our entire Spring Break outside riding bikes and playing. The weather was beautiful. We also had a Barbecue a few times this past week at our house and had our neighbors over, we had a lot of fun.

Logan had a great week also, he got to spent time with Nana while I took the girls to the movies. Logan loved playing at the park and could not get enough of it. When it was time to come in at the end of the day for a Bath he would cry and throw a fit. He loves being outdoors and will go out every chance he gets. Now that he is walking he is always wanting to go outback and play. He is talking so much more and is becoming very vocal about what he wants.

We had a really nice Easter, we woke up Sunday morning and a couple of our neighbors got together and we all went to the park across the street from our house and had an Easter Egg hunt all of the kids were to find 17 plastic eggs each all filled with candy. Logan did not really get into it like I thought he would. The big kids were at the big park and the little kids were at the small park when it came time to find the eggs it was only fare this way. And all Logan wanted to do was go with his sisters to the big park and find eggs with them. So he really did not get into it at all. I was a little bummed but hopefully next year.

My Parents and Brother came over later on and I made a Ham and my Mom brought over some potato salad and jello salad we had beans and rolls and Carrot Cake for dessert. Everything was so good.

Now Monday comes around the corner and it's back to School. Spring Break just flew by. None of the kids wanted to get out of bed yesterday morning. Logan came home from School and fell asleep during his G-Tube feeding he was so tired. The girls came home from School cranky with a bad attitude. So everyone went to bed early last night. Hopefully today will be a better day for everyone......

Logan has learned to open doors now, That is all he does is open and close doors he finds it very fascinating. So I had to go to Target and pick up some door handle covers and put them on all the doors downstairs. Every time I go to the Laundry room and he sees me heading for the door he will run and get inside the laundry room so he can turn the lights off and on and open and close the door.

Everyone is doing really good. The Girls have been working on a Science fair project for the past month and turned it in yesterday, It will be showcased in the Science Fair tonight at School all of the 4th and 5th graders had to do one. Elizabeth's project was How long will it take a drop of Food Dye to clear a glass of still water. Alicia's was Do all objects fall to the ground at the same speed? They were really excited about doing these projects and I am excited to go to the fair tonight to see them on display. I am so proud of them and there work they put into it.

Spring Break is coming up next week for us. I will be keeping the girls busy by taking them to the movies and the park and having play dates with there friends. I am looking forward to spending time with them.

Logan is wearing the Grey Jacket

Sorry for the lack of posts, we have had family staying with us for a while and they are sleeping in the office so it is kinda hard to get to my computer some times.

All is well in our neck of the woods. Everyone is doing great Logan is a walking fool that is all he does is walk walk walk :) oh and gets into everything and I mean everything.

We are now trying to teach him to walk up the stairs, he does OK with help of course. He is just doing awesome at School they have him holding on to the rope now every morning, I was able to snap some pictures. He is such a big boy now. Today was picture day at School I was able to stay there while he had his picture taken and he would not smile I tried everything I could, he was just horrified kept on fussing. After several pictures being taken it was time for him to get off the wooden box he was sitting on, he gets down from it and smiles, blows kisses to everyone there and says bye. I swear that little stinker...

After the individual pictures were taken it was time for the class photo, It almost brought tears to my eyes seeing him stand there with his class for his first class portrait and not having his wheel chair he has come so far and we are so proud of him.

I was able to pick the picture I wanted he is not smiling or crying he just has a little horrified look on his face. It was the best one there.

The girls are doing great. Nothing new going on with them. Last week I had to go shopping for Summer clothes for both of them. I went through there closet and nothing fit them from last year, I swear they are growing like weeds.

Richard is doing good, working like a dog and still playing in the snow. He drives to Northern California and it is still snowing there he can not wait until it stops. It's really hard and stressful on him. Last weekend he and a neighbor did some more planting on the side of our house. It looks really nice.

Yesterday we had Solar screens put in on the front of the house, the girls room faces the street and during the summer it gets so hot in there room so this is really going to help. Plus it looks really nice. Then we decided to have him install a security door which I love having you get a great breeze going on when you have the back sliding door open. It really makes the house POP. Great curb appeal.

Well I did curse myself Logan got sick again and so did I, but I had it pretty bad.
Two weeks ago I had the flu got better for you day then turned around and got Bronchitis pretty bad. I finally went to the Doctor and he gave me a script for antibiotics and now I am all better. Everyone is once again healthy of course I should probably stop saying that :)

So much has been going on in our household with Logan he is doing super Awesome he is walking all over the place, He is saying three and some four word sentence's. "Mommy play with me" "Mommy wait for me". He is always wanting to talk on the phone, he will say Call Nanny, call Papa. So we call Nanny 10 times a day I am not kidding he loves to talk on the phone. He is just talking all the time and 90% of the time we understand him. Also Logan knows the Alphabet, this is so huge. I will sing the song and he will sing right along with me. He will not say it on his own you have to sing with him.

When we get to school I get him out of the car and make him walk all the way to where he meets his Teacher. And for the first time today they had him hold on to the rope with the other kids. They put him in the front of the line so he will hold on and not let go. I will bring my camera to School on Monday and snap some pictures he is just so cute to see.

During School and after the girls have been doing Cheerleading so they come home and show me there new moves, well Logan always has to join in he never wants to get left out of anything. Well here is a video of Logan showing off his Dance moves trying to sing "Rise and Shine" a song they sing everyday in School. He wanted the girls to see with him and follow along.

These past few months I have had a house full of kids on the weekends. These past two Monday's there have been no School because of the holiday and staff development day so there friend from School has been spending the night and then we have other friends that come over and play. I do have to admit I am have been very tired, Cleaning up after everybody feeding the entire neighborhood is getting tiring and expensive. Don't get me wrong I enjoy having the girls have there friends over but this weekend I said no kids aloud we have family coming into town from California that will be staying with us and I am so excited to have my Cousin and her Daughter visit us.

Richard has been stressed out lately he is tired of being away from home and tired of driving in the snow he wants Winter to be over with. He has nearly missed being in multiple accidents because people want to drive stupid in the Snow. They are supposed to be rebidding at work so when they do he hopes to get a run where he is home every night instead of being away every other day.

Well I probably should not say this because I might curse myself, But everyone is healthy once again. YEAH!!!

Logan missed School yesterday because of his Cardiologist Appointment which he screamed the entire time for no reason. The Doctor said everything looks great his Heart is doing really good. His next Heart Cath will not be until 2015. I was so excited to hear that he is doing so good. I always get a little worried when he see the Doctor.

This Saturday night Richard will be taking me out for Valentines Day we will see a movie and get some dinner, I am really excited about getting to go out it has been awhile since we have gone out by ourselves with out any kids.

Speaking of kids everyone is doing good I got a call from Alicia's Special Ed Teacher and her reading is doing great she has really improved these past few months. Alicia still has to work on her attitude at home though. All the kids will be having a Valentines Party on Monday so I have a lot of shopping to do tomorrow, Target here I come :)

Not much else has been going on in our household just same old boring stuff.

I spoke to soon when I said everyone is feeling great. Logan came home from School last Thursday with a runny nose and water eyes at first I thought allergies but then he got worse. Sunday I woke up with a cold and not feeling good and at all. Alicia and Elizabeth are now also sick they were home from School yesterday with a slight fever and are getting better so I sent them back to school today. I kept Logan home for one more day, he will be going back to school tomorrow. I felt like crap yesterday but am doing better today. I lost my voice but am starting to get it back. My kids have missed so much school this year than ever before it seems like.
Since Logan has started to school he gets sick all the time and then passes it on to everyone else. The boy has got to stop putting everything in his mouth at school.

Richard is the only one healthy he took care of all of us yesterday. I have such a wonderful Husband :)

My Mom stayed home with Logan on Saturday since he was sick so I could take the girls to the Springs Preserve with a friend of mine and her kids. We had a lot of fun saw a bird show did a ton of walking around and then went on a Treasure Hunt using a compass and found some treasure. It was a beautiful day to be out.

I posted on my facebook page a few days ago a video of Logan walking YES I said walking, which he is doing 80% of the time now without the use of his walker. He is doing so good, I am just amazed. What a blessing I never thought this day would come. Of course he falls down but gets right back up again and continues to walk. He proved his Doctors wrong :)

His speech is really coming along great he is saying more words every day. As I sit back and reflect on the past and think about what he has been through and what it took to get were we are just amazes me. I thank God every day for the miracle he has given us. His personalty just shines he is always laughing and smiling all the time.. OK I am done bragging about my awesome son :) Also Logan has developed a love of books he loves to be read to, I will sit him in my lap and read several books to him through out the day, He loves it.

Everyone else is doing great. Richard is all better. His reflux has been acting up so he went and had an Upper GI he follows up with his Doctor in two weeks for the results.

Alicia is doing really good in School her grades are improving and her reading is great. She still struggles in Math but we are working on that. And her attitude, she is a real spit fire when she wants to be. She has a tendency to talk back way to much lately.

Elizabeth is doing good she is also struggling in Math, but her reading and comprehension is doing much better.

These past few days every time she goes to scratch herself she develops a rash on her body so I have been giving her Benadryl and that seems to be helping. I have not changed anything in her diet or soap or anything so I have no idea what she is allergic to all of a sudden. She has a Doctors appt with her Allergist next Monday I am hoping they will do a skin test since her last one was almost a year ago.

I am doing good, I have felt stressed out lately because of the kids fighting and arguing so much. They come home from School and it all starts. Elizabeth's Teacher has decided to give everyone in the classroom more homework for some odd reason. So trying to help each one with there homework and Logan trying to get into everything, and trying to cook dinner at the same time has become a challenge for me lately, I have felt very overwhelmed so I am trying to relax and not yell at the kids so much, which can be really hard.

I better get going Logan fell asleep in his feeding chair and it is almost time to tuck everyone into there beds and for me to relax and breathe. Thanks for checking in on our family.

Monday I took Richard to the Doctor because he had to give blood for part of his Physical well since he was there He asked the Doctor to look at him because he had a cold and was no feeling well. He took some X-Rays and discovered he has another Sinus Infection and an Pneumonia in his right lung, he gave him another stronger prescription and told him to take Mucinex DM. He will go back in 2 weeks to get more X-Rays just to make sure everything is ok.

Logan is back to his old self, laughing at anything you tell him. It is the cutest thing these past few nights he has been laughing at nothing his personalty is really coming out. He is a ball of laughs. The girls are doing great Elizabeth still has the sniffles but her Asthma is so much better.

I am doing just fine, knock on wood I am still healthy. Trying to sanitize our home so we all don't get sick again.

What a week this has been, I am just glad it is all over. Tuesday I took Logan to the Doctor, Wednesday I took Elizabeth to the Doctor and Thursday I took Logan back to the Doctor.
Logan stayed home from School all week, Elizabeth stayed home from School Thursday and Friday.

Elizabeth had a very bad cold along with her Asthma acting up, with a ton of meds she has been taking she is feeling so much better and will be able to return to School on Monday.

Alicia has had the sniffles all week, and a slight fever Thursday night when I told her she will probably have to stay home from School on Friday she started to cry she really wanted to go to School. So I told her if there is no fever in the morning she can go to school, well she woke up and the fever was gone so I let her go to School. I have been giving her Claritin and that seems to be helping and she is starting to feel better also.

Now on to Logan, I was so scared all week that he would end up in the hospital. I was giving him Pedialyte for 3 1/2 days straight and his Urine output was not that good. After each feed he would just have diarrhea and was very week. I was holding him all the time (this is the only part I loved) I took him back to the Doctor Thursday and they told me there was nothing they could do for him as long as he's having one wet diaper a day he will get over it soon. Well that was not good enough for me. So they gave me some containers so I could collect stool samples and return to Lab corp. Wouldn't you know we get home Thursday night from the Doctor and he never had diarrhea again. Friday he gets up and is doing so much better he starts to get color back in his face, he's talking more and doing more. So I slowly start to add formula back into his feed on Friday and today he is peeing up a storm I am changing his diaper ever hour. Right now we are half formula and half Pedialtye by Sunday he will be able to take in all formula. I am just so thankful he is doing so much better. I was really scared, of course I always am when it comes to him because of his heart. He will be able to return to School on Monday.

Today we have all just been hanging out at home, Richard is working and will be home in the morning. I am doing great, knock on wood....

I cannot believe 2011 is already upon us. The kids and I had a nice New Year's spent it with my parents then we came home and shared it with friends.

Monday the kids went back to school, but I was not so sure that was going to happen because it started to snow at 7am it only snowed for 2 hours t then started to melt later on in the day. We got about an inch, it was very pretty to see.

After I took the kids to School I get a phone call 45 min later saying that Logan has liquid Diarrhea and to come and get him. Later on in the day he started to throw up and have more Diarrhea. Tuesday morning he wakes up and throws up again, at this point I started giving him only Pedialtye. I called the Doctor and was able to get him in today and they said he has Rotavirus, There is nothing they can do for him just keep on doing what I'm doing. Well this happened last month the same thing I cannot believe he is sick again. No fever though.

I think the formula is out of his system and the pedialyte is working because the last 2 diaper changes have been no diarrhea, But no peeing either so now I am really worried has he ever been peeing before, I could not even tell so I will give it to the morning and if nothing I will take him back to the Doc.

I cannot believe it's already New Years Eve this entire year has gone by so fast.

I have finally got around to posting Christmas Pictures, we all have been super busy around here. Monday I took the girls to the Dentist for a check up and teeth cleaning I can report it was a good visit no cavities and the funny thing is the Doctor said the girls have the exact same X-Ray she thought it was the funniest thing. The rest of the week was spent running around and having neighborhood kids over.

Christmas Eve my parents came over it was very low key we had deli sandwich's and pasta it was all very good. We let the kids open one present both the girls got a pillow pet which they loved and so did Logan he jumped on it and started to love on it as soon as it was opened then when Alicia took it away from him he got very mad and started to scream, So you know me, I had to run out before the store closed and bought him one. I went to Walgreen's around the corner from us and they had one left it was the Green Frog. When I brought it home his face just lit up he was so excited over his pillow pet. He loves this thing...

Christmas Day we opened up presents and the girls got everything they wanted from Santa and us and family members. We then headed over to my parents house and opened up presents over there. We had a delicious Turkey Dinner and all the fixen's, Thanks Mom it was awesome.

Everyone is doing great and healthy well almost. Richard went to the Doctor to get a prescription refilled and found out he had a Sinus Infection and had no idea. He has been having head aches off and on and told the Doctor this so he decided to do an X-Ray of his face and that's when they found out he had an Infection he also found out he has no sinus cavity above his left eye, He was never born with one. So they gave him a prescription for Amoxicillin fro 10 days. He is feeling a lot better now.

Unfortunately Richard is working and will be home Saturday morning so we will not be spending New Year's Eve together he works it every year.

My Parents invited the kids and I over for Dinner so we will be going over there house later on today. Then when we come home my next door neighbor is having a get together so we will head on over there after I put Logan to bed. I love that there right next door and Logan's Monitor works great I can hear everything. We will all be out front in the driveway with a fire pit and hopefully heaters it is going to be so cold tonight a high of 25 degrees, right now it is 34 degrees and windy so that makes it even colder. (I know you East Coasters think I am a wimp.) We got some snow flurries here yesterday nothing stuck to the ground but it was very pretty to see.

OK It has been raining non stop since Friday I wish it would stop so I can go get a few more items for the girls and go get Christmas Eve Dinner. We are having my parents over and we will be having sandwich's on rolls nothing fancy, just don't want to cook. Christmas Day we are going over to my Parents house to have Turkey and all the fixen's and I will be making my fabulous Banana Sour Cream Cake which is the bomb.

The kids started there two week Christmas Break Saturday, they are so excited to have no homework and be able to play with there friends. Logan is Logan getting into everything, he is doing very well considering. I was able to snap a few pictures he really did not want to cooperate so I could get a good picture of his arm. We got to pick what color the cast would be so I picked blue.

I have not even begun to wrap anything yet I always procrastinate every year and always wrap on Christmas Eve and rush to get it done. Richard will be off Friday through Monday we are all excited to have him home.

Everyone Should have gotten there Christmas Card by now, I decided not to do a letter this year and just pictures of the kids. All my family and friends have my blog and read so they already know what is going on in our lives. I took the kids picture and went to Walgreen's the pic turned out so cute I decided to post the pictures so everyone can see them again :)

I have been meaning to post all week long but it has been very crazy around here, I am about to leave to take Logan to his GI Doc for a check up and I thought I would post really quick more to follow tomorrow.

Last Tuesday night I had to take Logan to the ER he was scooting up the stairs like he always does and this time he decided to stand up and he fell down I could not get to him in time. When I did he was crying and holding his left arm, just to be safe and so I could sleep at night I took him to the Hospital and they did an X-Ray and found out he had a Buckle Break at his left wrist. He did break it but not all the way so they put it in a splint and I called his Ortho the next day and they got him in. The but a cast on and said it would be on for 3 weeks and to have no extra activity for 5 weeks. We go back January 7th to have it taken off. I felt so bad I was crying, I felt like such an awful Mom. SO from now on he is not allowed on the stairs no exceptions.

And it seems like since he has had this cast on he is getting into everything and I mean everything opening drawers in the kitchen getting into my purse on the counter. Getting into everything he can get his hands on, I never sit down because as soon as I do he is into something. HE has become quite the handful lately.

Oh and every time you tell him to do something he says WHY he is in that stage now everything is WHY WHY WHY... He is also taking more steps every day. HE is always using his walker. He is just amazing me every day.. OK that is enough bragging for one day :) I will post pictures tomorrow.

Saturday we went to a Birthday party for most of the day, Sunday Richard came home and we spent the day together as a family.

Richard was also home on Monday so I had to take my car into the shop all day yesterday because there was a seat belt recall in the second row oh and they had to replace the steering column because it was making noises. They call me back last night to tell me they fixed the steering column but the seat belt that came in was the wrong color it was a dark grey instead of a light grey, they are going to have to order the correct color again and then I will have to bring my car back AGAIN in a few weeks. They can not even get it right the first time...

Logan stayed home from School on Monday because he woke up Sunday with a cold he could have gone to school because he had no fever and was acting fine but he is very congested, runny nose and coughing. I sent him to school today he is still the same no change but since he is acting fine I said to my self why not.

After I dropped the kids off I came home and made some chocolate dipped spoons to give away with some hot cocoa mix for gifts to the bus driver and teacher helpers at School. For the kids Teachers I bought them gifts. I plan on doing some baking for my neighbors. We had a fun weekend Saturday we spent the day with a friend of mine and her kids at the Amazing Clown Indoor Party Park here in Las Vegas. The kids had so much fun they had a D.J. and were playing music, Karaoke and There was a booth to have your pictures taken, They had a Jump House, Train, Arcade games, Magic show. I recorded Alicia dancing with her friend she has no idea I posted it on the blog. She is the tall one of course to the right. Logan also came with us even though he could not do much he enjoyed watching everyone. We all had a good time. There friends came over after and spent the night, I had a house full of kids all weekend.

Richard worked on Saturday but was home Sunday morning, When he got up we took the girls friends home and went and did some errands. I had to go to Target and get the kids Teacher's gifts for Christmas, I am almost done shopping for the family I just have to pick up a few more items.

Yesterday I was able to get video of Logan dancing he loves to play with this Christmas stuffed Santa and Mrs Clause that sings. I got it at Hallmark about 5 years ago he just loves to squeeze the hand over and over. We also have a Snowman that stands about a foot high we have also had this for a few years and every year we put it out for Christmas and he is just terrified of it. You push a button and it sings "Shake your groove thing" and it turns around and the butt shakes, it is so cute. Well this year he finally came up to it and pushes the button and scoots away as fast as he can. When it is not playing he will go right up to it and take it's scarf of it's neck and put it around his own neck, It is the cutest thing.

WOW everyone is finally healthy now. Alicia got sick the night before Thanksgiving throwing up and having Diarrhea. Then this past Sunday night I was sick it was just for 24 hours though, Thank goodness. I am just glad that everyone is healthy again now I can sanitize my house and clean oh YEAH....

We spent Thanksgiving at my Mom's house it was very nice to spend time with the family we all ate way to much I swear I gained 20lbs. Richard went back to work Tuesday night after having 6 days off, it was so nice having him home I miss him already.

Logan went to see Dr. Stewart his Orthopedic yesterday. I told the Doctor he is pulling to stand, cruising around the kitchen table and couch and is able to walk with the help of his walker. He said it sounds like he is doing great and he looks good to. He said he can't believe he is doing so good, he does not see him needing any surgery's now or in the future and to come back in a year. Well I could have told him all that.

My Aunt and Uncle are in town so we went over to my Mom's house last night to visit and have dinner. It was nice seeing them again.

The Sickies are still going on in our household, I thought Logan was feeling better so I gave him milk with a little bit of Pedialyte at 1pm and at 3:15 when I was at the girls school waiting for them to get out I hear it he just went diarrhea in his pants and it is every where. I get home change him and give him a bath I go in the garage to throw everything out and before I even walk back in the door he went again, So I clean him up and give him another bath again. This went on for about an hour and finally it was all over.

I put Logan to bed at 7:15 last night because he did not have a nap and he slept through the night until 10am this morning. I could not believe it he has never slept that long before ever. He woke up this morning and he was fine just a very wet diaper. I gave him 3 oz of 7-up in his cup and he drank all of it through his straw, when he was done he said he wanted MORE PLEASE so I gave him another 3oz and he drank 2oz of it. He must have been very thirsty to drink 5oz by mouth because he has never drank that much before at one time ever.

Richard made it home this morning feeling a little better, let's just hope he stays that way. He is now sleeping so I hope when he gets up he will be fine.

I took Logan to the pediatrician last night, He started to have Diarrhea every 10 minuets and was throwing up. They checked him for strep throat because his throat was red and it came back negative, they just said he has a virus and it will pass just to keep doing what I am doing. So this morning he wakes up and is happy and acting like his own self. He did have Diarrhea once when he first woke up this morning but nothing since and it has been 5 hours so I am pretty sure he is done with that. He is all over the place talking up a storm and being silly so I would say he is all better.

Richard on the other hand is not feeling so good he called me last night on his way to Northern California and he is nauseous and having diarrhea. He finally got there a little bit ago at the hotel and is sleeping. I just feel so bad for him, it is no fun being sick and driving. We are just passing it along over here one by one. Knock on wood but Alicia and I are doing good.

Since Logan is feeling better, I decided to make Pumpkin Bread and Banana Bread. Tomorrow I will be going to Marie Calenders to pick up some pies for Thanksgiving day, I buy them there every year and I think they have the best pies.

I am happy to report that Elizabeth was feeling better on Friday but I still kept her home just to make sure. She just had the 24 hour flu. I am sure glad that is over with.
BUT Logan woke up throwing up very early Sunday morning, he only threw up one time but he does have a fever of 100.4 just like Elizabeth. He has been very clingy all day Sunday, I have been holding him and rocking him all day long and I am loving every minute of it. The fact that I get to love on him that is. I always hate to see my kids hurting. I am hoping he will feel better on Tuesday.

I have been giving him Pedialyte with a little bit of milk through his g-tube and so far he has been keeping it in, he has been gaging a lot though. I will ask him do you want Mommy to hold you and rock you, he will say YES. It just melts my heart. I have been giving him Ibuprofen every 4 hours and that seems to help give him a little strength, other than that I have been holding him all day. He is in his chair eating right now so I decided to right a quick post.

Everyone else is doing good so I hope Alicia stays healthy for Thanksgiving which we will be having at my Mom's house.

Elizabeth stayed home from School today, she woke me up at 4am saying her stomach hurt real bad so I had her crawl into bed with me and a half hour later she threw up all over my carpet in the bathroom. Poor thing she is just miserable not being able to hold anything in and she now has a fever of 101.3. She was not able to eat anything all day but I was finally able to get her to eat some toast tonight and she has kept that in so far. I have been giving her Tylenol/Motrin all day long. She will not being going to school on Friday. She told me that some boy in her class threw up in the classroom yesterday, so that is how she got sick.

I am just so mad at myself I always get everyone the flu shot in October but this year I some how procrastinated. I was going to get them there flu shot this weekend but it looks like I am going to have to wait for Elizabeth anyway.

I am praying that no one else gets sick. Please say some prayers.

I had a really nice weekend, I had my cousin and her Daughter in town they left Sunday and I was very sad to see them go, But happy to know they will be back in January YEAH...

First off Logan has been standing up in the middle of the room all by himself for the past two weeks. Well this past Friday he stood up and actually took two steps forward all by himself, I was so excited. I got it on video. Also Logan has been using his walker a lot he is a walking full with his walker which I also got on video. He is all over the house using his walker, he is doing so good we are just so proud of him.

Elizabeth and Alicia are doing good. Elizabeth's Asthma has been acting up, it is that time of year again. I have been giving her extra treatments she is starting to feel a lot better. Alicia has developed a cough, so I have been giving her medicine to help with that. This weekend every one will be getting there flu shot, we are running a little behind this year.

Richard is doing good staying healthy. He has Thanksgiving day off but I am not sure about the day after he will find out in a few days.

Not much has been going on around here still trying to get organized I have been procrastinating lately so it is time to get my but in gear Enjoy the video's.

Richard went back to the old grindstone last night, after having nine days off it's time to go back to work. WE have really enjoyed having him around the house, I was sad to see him go last night. He has another five days off at Thanksgiving so it is something to look forward to.
We got so much done around the house inside an out. we are so proud.
We also got a lot of Christmas shopping done for the kids, I am so excited I am almost done with them.
I love it when Richard is home but it throws my entire schedule out of whack, So I have tons to catch up on. I need to organize my scrapbook area but have been procrastinating lately. I borrowed my mom's carpet cleaner so I will be doing that tonight after the kids are in bed. My carpet is so dirty from so much foot traffic from all the kids that come in and out of my home. I also need to go through the kids summer clothes and donate them. And I am sure there is lots more just can't thing of them right now :)

Richard's step sister Joyce was in town this past weekend and we had a really nice visit she came down from Shreveport, LA for a pool tournament at Bally's Hotel so we met here there and spent the day together. It was really good seeing her and she got to meet Logan for the first time. The last time she say the girls is when they were 3 years old. So this was a real treat for her.

This Friday I have my Cousin and her daughter coming in from Victorville, CA to stay with us. I am really looking forward to that visit.

So Logan likes to watch Ni Hao Kai-Lan on Nick JR. He loves this show and he really pays attention to it. Every time a character tries to get someones attention they will say "TING", So last night before going to bed Logan was trying to say good night to Elizabeth. Logan says nightnight LaLa and Elizabeth did not hear him so he says LaLa hello TING. It was the cutest thing ever Richard and I laughed so hard. So Logan goes around all the time saying TING TING TING he is so cute he is always making us laugh.

Logan's P.T. from School called me today to let me know that Logan used his walker and walked down the hall today all by himself with no help, he would stop every six steps to take a break then start walking again. I was so excited to hear this.

I asked the teacher if I could come and visit Logan's class to see what they do and how Logan does she said OK how about Tuesday so I took him inside his classroom and as soon as we got inside he started to cry to I stayed for about 2 minutes and it just got worse, I was so sad I really wanted to stay and see how he does. I left the classroom and stood outside the door and watched through the glass window for about 20 minutes after he stopped crying I left. I was so sad I wanted to go in there and scoop him right up. I really thought he would do good but I guess with me being there was to much for him.

We had a great Halloween. I passed out candy and Richard took the kids trick-r-treating. Richard said Logan did so good he did not cry at all. There were a few doors that the girls would not walk up to because they were scary but Logan had no problem at all he was pushed around in his stroller looking and watching everyone else. People were giving Logan more candy because he was so cute. We had so many tricker treaters just like we did last year. All the kids look so cute dressed up.

The kids finally went back to school today after having five days off. It was hard getting them out of bed this morning.

We are doing really good around here. We have been so busy doing a lot of yard work and doing things inside the home. The front yard looks so nice we added plants, rocks and solar lights leading up to our front door and pavers/stepping stones on the side of the house.

Logan is doing awesome he is now trying to stand up all by himself when he is in the middle of the room. We are just so excited at how much progress he has made.

Sorry for the lack of posts things have been busy around here.

This past Friday the kids School had a Spuktacular Event it was fun they had games, cake walk a Haunted House, We all enjoyed ourselves. Saturday we took the kids and there friend to Chuck E Cheese's we were there for hours they all had fun, even Logan got to ride a few rides with out crying that much.

Everyone is doing great. Richard starts his Vacation this Friday. I already have the first few days planned out for him, I know I am such a great wife :) Friday we are having 3 tons of rock delivered for the side of the house and Richard will be pulling out a big bush and planting a different kind of plant instead, then planting a tree on the other side of the house. This will keep him busy for two-three days. I don't want him getting to bored.

Saturday night we are having a Halloween party at our house this year all or friends and neighbors will be coming over. It will be potluck. We are always having party's in our neighborhood, I always have so much fun it gives me a chance to interact with other adults and all the kids have fun playing together.

Oh I almost forgot to mention our date night last Saturday night. We had a great time we went to see the movie RED it was very good we really enjoyed it. Then we went and had dinner at Claim Jumpers we love there food, I had the New York Steak and Richard had Porterhouse Steak. We got to my Mom's five minuets later to pick up the kids and I got sick I think it was food poisoning not sure but I felt better a few days later.

Logan is just making strides every day. He s always pulling to stand every chance he gets. He is also holding on to things and walking. I think he will be walking all by himself in six months. We are all just so excited at how much progress he is making. His Speech is really coming along also.

We took the kids to the Pumkin Patch this past weekend and they had fun riding down the slides and playing games to win prizes. We were wearing shorts in the middle of October it was hot 87 degrees. They had a little petting area but none of the kids wanted to go in so I strolled Logan on the out side of it so he could look at the animals.

Every one is doing good and healthy. The girls are doing a lot better in School. I new it would take a couple of months to get back in the groove of things. Instead of taking an hour they are done in 25 minutes with there homework.

Today was Donuts with Dads day at School and since Richard is out of town I took the kids and we all ate donuts and bagels. YUMMY...

For some odd reason Logan has been crying this week when I drop him off at School, and the Teacher told me today that he felt really hot yesterday but had no fever and then last night he woke up sweaty but no fever. I hope he is not coming down with anything.

Richard is doing good. Working really hard for his family like he always does. He has Vacation coming up the first week of November which I am really excited about. We have a few things to do around the house and plan on getting them done at that time. Basically just planting more and adding more rock to add curb appeal. Our front yard is looking really nice.

I have been doing OK just feel like I am in this slump and can not get out of it. My respite nurse has not been available to watch the kids she has really busy. So I just feel like I need a break or a date night. My Mom will be watching the kids for us this Saturday night so Richard and I can go to Dinner and see a Movie. I want to go and see RED it looks really funny and I am needing a good laugh.

OK So Logan has really been making strides this week. All he does is pull to stand every second of the day. I was crying today (tears of joy) I can not believe how far Logan has come these past three years. I never thought he would be where he is today. I am so excited at how much he has accomplished since starting School in August. I am just so happy words can not even describe how I feel right now. This morning before I started to record Logan, He pulled to stand in front of the kitchen sink and then cruised along to the stove all by himself. So I have to start keeping the camera with me at all times.

Since last week Logan has learned to climb the first step of the stairs backwards pushing up using his feet. Well today he mastered the second step. Looks like I will be going to Babies R Us and buying another safety gate that swings open for the stairs. Because there is no way I will be climbing over a gate all day long :)

OK I know I have been a slacker when it comes to blogging but I have been super busy. Richard was on vacation for a few days this week and he went back to work Thursday night. We got a lot of things done around the house which is always good. Not much has been going on around here just busy with the kids and homework and church activities.

The girls are doing good except they have been getting on my nerves with fighting with each other. Other than that they are great. They have been outside playing with there friends every chance they get. The weather is starting to cool off I can actually have my windows open all day long. I am loving the weather change finally.

Logan is just a handful copying everything the girls say. The other day Logan pulled to stand all by himself for the first time I have pictures but I really need to take video. I will post video and pictures tomorrow. I was so excited we were all screaming with excitement. Now he will pull him self to stand when reaching for the couch, in his crib, every chance he gets he will pull to stand.

He is doing great in School he loves taking the bus home. He gets so excited every time he gets on the bus. His P.T. at School said he is doing great they have him use the walker down the hall at school. He is really making strides. The only bad part is, is when he stands up his feet turn in like he is standing on his ankle. His feet are very week when he stands. So I really have to make sure to use those AFO's (Leg braces).

Richard will be home in the morning to spend the weekend with us. YEAH ....

Let me first start out by saying it is so stinken HOT, today is 105 and it is the end of September..

OK this past week has been so crazy I had no time to post. I just put Logan down for a nap so now I have time to catch up.

Little Mr. Logan has had quite the personality he is learning and doing so much every day. We will copy almost everything you say and do, that being said I hand the girls have to be very careful about what we say around Logan. He now knows how to say and use MEAN in an appropriate manner. When the girls are playing around and being mean to each other Logan will say Meany to them. Then he will say "be ni" which means be nice. He will tell the girls all the time NO and NO MINE. He has quite the temper when he does not get his way or get what he wants. He has learned a lot of bad habits from the girls, he will watch them very closely at what they do and say.

Saturday afternoon all the kids were playing out front so we took Logan and his fire truck ride along out front on the side walk. Were we live the sidewalk has a slope going down and I would put him at the top were we live and let him ride down it which is about 5 houses down and he had a blast he would lift his legs in the air so he could go faster and he even stopped himself when he was done. He would laugh going down, while I tried to chase him so he would not fall off. I swear I almost had a Heart attack I was more afraid of him falling off the thing then he was. He had so much fun we did this a couple of times. And of course I forgot to take pictures. When it cools down I will take him out front and get some pics.

Over the weekend Logan kept on going into the office and by himself with out me asking he would go in and drag his walker over to me were I was sitting and say Mama and pat on the walker. So I lifted him up got him to stand and he took steps all by himself, I was so excited he did not even need my help with holding him. I did remember to get pictures of that :)

Thursday was Logan's first day taking the bus home from School. I thought I would try it out, They drop him off right out front of our house. And he loved it the Bus Driver said he never cried and when he got off he had smiles on his face. I am trying to get him to take the bus in the morning to School but I want the girls to ride with him it would be a Sibling ride along which has to be approved through the School, I should now something in a few weeks if the girls can ride along with him, I think it would be so neat if they could.

The girls are being stinkers they have been getting on my nerves with fighting and tattle tailing all week. I hope this week will be different, I can only hope right...

They have been busy with doing homework and reading to me every day oh and playing with there friends when there homework is all done.

Richard is doing great working very hard for his family he has vacation coming up the first week of November, which I am looking forward to. I told him we will have to go shopping with me for Christmas gifts since he has off. He was really happy to hear that :)

Other than that everyone is healthy and doing great just always busy busy busy....

Back in June when we went to Child Find to get tested to see if Logan was eligible to enter the School District to go to Pre-K I was told that Logan needs to see a Pediatric Opthamologist his eyes do not look right. Well I made the appointment it took three months to get in and we finally saw Dr Nelson yesterday she discovered that Logan has Duane Syndrome is a eye muscle disorder you can read about it here http://www.aapos.org/faq_list/duane_syndrome. The Doctor said there is a chance of him having eye surgery to correct it but he will have to be monitored to find out. The Doctor also dilated Logan's eyes and found out that he does not need any glasses at the moment. She also told me that it could over time cause hearing loss she asked me if he had his hearing checked lately I said yes back in June and everything was fine. So this is just another hurdle we have to over come and stay strong about.

After that appointment we headed on over to the Chiropractor to get him adjusted one leg is longer than the other but after she adjusted him the problem was fixed.

My Mom has been sick with Bronchitis so I did some running around for her getting her Grocery's and other things. I feel so bad for her she just feels awful.

Richard is out of town today so it is just the kids and I, We will probably stay home all day so the girls can play with there friends oh and I will most likely make a trip to the library.

Yesterday was a busy day. Logan did not go to School yesterday because he had a Doctors Appointment with the Neurologist. So I drop the girls off at School and I have just enough time to squeeze in some grocery shopping so I head on over to Walmart. First I go over to the apparel area and I found some P.J's for Logan for Winter on clearance for $2 I was so excited I went through and grabbed all of the 4T Sponge Bob and Cars pajama's, well while I am doing this there is a shelf full of shirts and Logan takes it upon him self to put ever shirt in my basket which I had no idea he was doing because I was so excited I found P.J's for $2. So I put every shirt back on the shelve, did I fold them no I did not have anytime. Am I a bad person for not doing that probably so.
I continue my shopping and the next deal I find is .75 for lunchables so I wiped out there stock at this price. I pick up a few more items and Logan decides to turn around in the cart and put everything he can in his lap and try to open it so he can eat it. We get to the check out and he helps me put things on the belt to be rung up. As I am putting the bags in the cart he decides to take food out of the bag and give them to the people behind us by throwing it in there cart.

We come home eat lunch and off we go again to see the Neurologist she said he is doing OK he is still very low tone and his legs are like jello, and that he will be able to walk in a few years, everything she told me I already new. Except I think he will be walking in about 1 year.

We head home again so Logan can eat. I swear to you I felt like I was feeding and changing his butt all day long in between running errands and going to the doctor's.

By this time it is time to go pick up the girls from School they come home and we have to hurry up and do homework we finished in half an hour with A LOT of my help. We are about to head out the door again so I can drop them off at activity day's when I noticed Logan destroyed the computer room he got a hold of the Monster pencil sharpener and took the bottom out and got pencil shavings all over the place and then he got into the bottom drawer and opened up a half opened package of computer paper and riped almost all of the paper, and he took out all his medical supplies and there were supplies everywhere. I guess this is what I get for not paying him any attention and helping my girls with there homework. I love the boy to death but he has become a handful lately.

I drop the kids off at activity day's come home feed Logan again an hour later it is time to go pick them up and we have half an hour to eat so we head on over to Dell Taco were they have taco's 3 for $1. I love Taco Tuesday in our house. After this we head on over to the School were they are having Back to School night I got to talk with all there teachers and they are all doing pretty good.
We head home and it's bath time for everyone. Feed Logan again and everyone is in bed at 8:30 including myself I was so tired I passed right out. THE END

We have all been super busy around here all week long.

This weekend was spent doing errands the entire time and doing tons of laundry.

With Homework after School everyday it has been so stressful, the girls get assigned homework to do every day and then it is due the next day, well we have been doing homework every night for 2 hours each night. SO I made a call to there Teacher's and said this is getting ridiculous there is just way to much homework to do and it is taking us 2 hours every night. I don't have the time or the patience for this. Homework should not take any more than 45 minutes each night to do. (this is my opinion) My gosh I am trying to do everything by myself. Richard is home every other day and when he is home it is for 2 hours then he has to leave again. I do believe in giving homework don't get me wrong but 2 hours every night is just ludicrous. So the teacher's said I could do 30-45 minutes of homework and that would be fine.

And Logan that boy is beginning to be a handful. He loves to spend all of time on his Fire Truck ride along riding all over the house and he has started to stand up while on his ride along and grab everything is site and throw it. I LOVE the fact that he is standing every time he is on the thing but he is just getting into everything you have to keep a close eye on this boy because he is very quick :)

Logan is starting to get adjusted to School, he will fuss every day that I drop him off but as soon as the Teacher takes him away he stops fussing. He is also participating in snack time he will eat snacks and drink juice with all the other kids now.

Logan is doing awesome when it comes to eating by mouth for lunch today he ate Mac & Cheese and drank some juice threw a straw from his cup, he did so good I did not even have to feed him by G-Tube, This will happen every so often I am just super excited.

We had a great long weekend.

Saturday I just hung out at the house all day while Richard was out of town. The girls had there friends over all day playing.

Sunday we had over a lot of our Neighborhood friends and Barbecued Hamburgers and hot dogs. We had tons of fun entertaining.

Monday we had over my parents and we barbecued Chicken. Needless to say Richard was Barbecuing all weekend long :)

Today it's back to the old grindstone. Woke up this morning to rain. After I drop the girls off I swing around to the front of the School and drop off Logan and as soon as I pull up he starts to fuss. I bring him inside the school because of the rain and we wait inside he just starts to cry and I tried so hard to pull back my tears. When the teacher took him away he was fine, I think for him is just getting to that point. He really knows how to rip out my heart and I feel so guilty leaving him. But I do find comfort in knowing that when the teacher does take him away he always stops crying. That is what gets me through the day.

I was going to go t the Library after I dropped the kids off but it was raining so hard I had a really hard time seeing the lines on the freeway so I came home and folded a ton of laundry put it all away and now it is time to go get Logan. The 2 1/2 hours just fly by.

Home work starts today for the girls and I am not looking forward to that ):

I pull in the parking space to drop Logan off at School Yesterday and he starts to hyperventilate and cry, he calmed down when he saw his Teacher. He had a good day only cried for 20 minutes.

This morning I pull up to the School and he starts to cry again, I think he is finally realizing that when I drop the girls off for School he is next. He did fuss when we pulled up and got out of the Car. But when his Teacher took him he was fine and he gave me 4 kisses which I loved. He did not even cry today at all when in School. He had a really good day. Now he just has to get used to being there every day and feeling comfortable to be able to have snack time.

Logan will be happy tomorrow when I drop the girls off and he does not have to get out of the Car. He only attends School Mon-Thurs. And next Monday there is also no School because of the Holiday so I hope he does not think he is never going back after this long break.

Yesterday Elizabeth stayed home from School she had no fever but was very pale, congested and just not feeling well. She caught a cold from Logan just a little worse. She is doing a little better and was able to go back to School today.

Richard is doing good, working very hard for his family. I miss him so much. I will have Sunday and Monday with him which is perfect because all the kids will be out on Monday so we will be able to do something together as a family :)

Today was our second day of School and the Teacher said that Logan did so much better today, he only fussed for half the time he was there. He was still not wanting to get out of his wheel chair (because he feels more safe) and the Teacher told me he did not want to participate in circle time but made him do it anyway.

I am also doing a little better, I felt very nervous dropping him off this morning but it will pass.

Logan is such a cutie pie when I pick him up after School I always talk to him and ask him how his day went, ask him if he had fun, did he go on the playground to play, did he play with any kids he will always so NOOO, it's just the way he says it makes it so cute. Even though he does not talk and will not respond back appropriately and only says a few words, I still treat him like a typical child.

The girls are doing good so far no homework yet, I know that will change next week. But I am just glad that they are loving school and having a good time there.

After School we headed on over to our Church today was Activity's day and the girls put on a Fashion Show all the Mom's showed up, They walked down a made up runway and showed off clothes that they were to School. It was really cute seeing the girls show off there new outfits I bought them.

So today was the first day of School I could not believe it, these past three months have gone by so fast.

I got up this morning took a shower and I just started to cry, I just felt nauseated. I was dreading taking Logan to School this morning I was so sad. Richard was home so he was able to go with me for support which I really needed. I drop the girls off then I head over to Logan's classroom and drop him off, the teacher did not want me to stay at all. So we left and of course he started to cry. I peaked through the window one last time and then we left to go home. Amazingly I was feeling good that he will have a good time. I get home and I start to cry again. I laid down for over an hour and had a nap when I got up I was feeling so much better. I was so mentally exhausted from all the crying I have been doing these past few days.

Logan goes to School from 9:00am to 11:40am. We pick him up from School and the Teacher said he never threw up and he just wined the entire time he was there and reached for the door calling my name, Other than that he did good. He did not want any snacks or nothing to drink and really did not want to get out of his wheel chair. It will take some time for him to feel safe enough to eat and get out of his wheel chair.

We came home he eat half a PB&J Sandwich, feed him some milk through his g-tube put him down for a nap which he only slept for 40 minutes.

By this time it was time to go pick up the girls from School, they had a great day. They love there teachers. They are in different classrooms again this year. Elizabeth's Teacher is a Science freak so that means she will be doing lots of Science stuff.

OK So I finally have a chance to catch up on last week's happening's.

Monday & Tuesday: Was Logan's last day of therapy in the community He will no longer receive Speech, O.T. or P.T. Since he will be starting School on Monday there is just no time, he will get it in School though but it will not be the same. I am really going to miss his therapist's I really enjoyed all of them. They taught Logan so much and he has learned so much in a short period of time.

Wednesday: I had a friend come over with her kids and we had a play date all day. My Friend Katie watches a three year old during the week so she brought him over to play with Logan and they had a good time playing together except Logan did not want to share his toys with Shawn. Shawn would get on Logan's ride a long and Logan would say no Shawn mine.. Over the past few weeks Logan does not like anyone touching his toys not even his sisters. Logan has just been a little pill lately not getting what he wants and he will start to cry and throw a fit of course that is our fault because when he is getting feed through the G-Tube and he wants something we will always give it to him so he will not scream and throw up.

Thursday: I took the girls and there best friend Maddie to the Skating rink while my Mom watched Logan. They had a great time Skating and falling down :)

Friday: It was Richard's Birthday he turned 37 wooohooo... So Richard and the girls went to the movies to go see Cats and Dogs they really liked that movie. It was also meet the teacher day, I love all of the kids Teachers and I hope they will thrive in School this year.

Saturday: I planned on taking Richard out to Dinner and a movie but Logan's Respite Nurse called and said she was sick so I went to Redbox and rented The Backup Plan and Death at a Funeral. Both movies were really good.

Today is time spent at home getting all the kids ready for School in the morning, Doing Laundry, Getting School Supplies ready and talking to the kids about going back to School and getting back into a routine. Sounds like fun right....

It is a good thing we did not go out Saturday night because Logan started to get a runny nose and now is congested, I can not believe he got sick right before School is about to start. He has no fever so far but I have been giving him Pedialyte so he won't throw up. He has been getting sick a lot lately and when he does he is sick for a week. I will take him to School in the morning because I have to talk to the RN and give her the low down on Logan and I will see what she has to say. I have a feeling he will be missing a lot of School this year. (which is fine by me).

These last few days I have been having a very hard time letting Logan go to School, I can not seem to cut the cord. We went to meet his Teacher Friday and I just broke down crying ,I could not help myself. Then last night I started to cry again and now today my stomach hurts. I found out he will be the only child with a G-Tube and the only child in a wheel chair, hearing this makes me very sad. I can see it now all the other kids are on the playground playing and Logan is stuck in his wheelchair watching the kids play, just thinking about this makes me cry. He is so very different than all of the other kids there. I just have to work even harder than I am now to get him to walk. The only reason I am sending him to School is so he can interact with other kids his age and hopefully by seeing them walk to get around it will inspire him to want to do the same thing. So we will see who does more crying tomorrow me or him...

Not much has been going on in our household this past week, which is great. love it when it is quite. The girls have been playing with there friends, enjoying there last week of freedom before School starts August 30th.

We went out to Dinner last night at Chili's and we decided to order Logan some Mac & Cheese from the children's menu. He drank 2 1/2 oz of juice by mouth threw a straw and ate more than a half cup of Mac & Cheese, he did so good and he was able to keep it all in. We were so excited. The other day for lunch he ate half PB&J sandwich. he is really starting to get this eating down pretty good. He will no longer chew on his sippy cup to get juice out he loves drinking from a straw. But he does not know how to suck on his sippy cup to get juice out, I don't understand that one. But I guess it is easier to suck threw a straw than a sippy cup. So I will be going to the store to get the sippy cup that has a straw in it for him to dink out of for School and home use. We are just so excited at how much progress he is making when it comes to eating and drinking.

Richard and I celebrated our 11 Year Wedding Anniversary on Saturday. My Mom watched the kids while we went out and had a great night. We don't get out much together because of his work schedule and the kids so we really enjoyed ourselves. We went to the movies to go see The Expendables which was very good and then we ate at Lindo Michoacan they have the best Mexican food I have ever tasted everything is authentic and they were voted "Best of Las Vegas" six years in a row, now I know why. IF you ever get a chance I highly recommend eating there.

This past week has been crazy the girls have had there friends over all week playing. Logan is doing great. He had a high fever for a few days last week so I took him to the Doctor and they gave him a Rocephin Shot and the next day the fever was gone, he tested negative for strep throat but his throat was very red they said. SO I am just glad the shot worked he had some kind of Bacteria infection.

All the kids start school in two weeks I am super excited except for Logan, because he is so attached at the hip with me it is going to be very hard to let him go. I am very sad.

Over the weekend we got all the kids there School supplies, the kids got new clothes and new shoes for School. Let me tell you kids are VERY expensive....

Logan is feeling a little better this morning, his fever has come down. Thanks to Tylenol and Motrin. This morning he was up at 3am talking to himself and laughing it was the cutest thing, a few times I heard him say more more and then would laugh, It must have been his guardian angle talking to him because he was laughing away. He eventually went back to sleep and so did I.
My parents will be coming over at 4pm and we will Barbecue Chicken, Eat Cake and Open presents. I will post pictures tomorrow.

Logan is not having a good time

I took the kids and there friends to the Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas today, it was very interesting. I just wish I could have seen and heard all of it, we were given a tour. Logan cried and whined the entire time, he was very cranky and I had no idea why. After lunch and taking there friends home, we head home and Logan is still crying. I feed him he throws up I check his forehead and no fever so I send him to bed he takes a two hour nap I get him up feed him give him some Tylenol because he is still very cranky and crying, he gets almost done with his feed and he throws up again I check his head and take his temperature and he is running a 103.3 temp. So at this point I freak out, I always worry about his heart. I give him a luke warm bath and that brings his temp down to 99.6, at this point I am feeling a little better. After about half hour of him taking a bath I take his temp and it is back up to 103.0 I give him some Motrin hold him for a bit longer then I put him to bed. I am so worried about him especially when his temp is this high and because of his Heart condition. So I will be up all night worrying about him and checking on him. Please say some prayers for Logan tonight.

Today was Logan's last day of Nevada Early Intervention, My baby turns 3 on Sunday so he has to exit the program and go into the School District. I am very sad to see our favorite D.S. and O.T leave. They have been coming to our house since Logan was 3 months old, we all have become good friends. Nora's last visit was last week and Michelle's last visit was today. But the good news is he met all of goals we had planned for him YEAH LOGAN...

So Michelle did her evaluation on him to see were he is developmentally and after scoring Logan these are the results.

Cognitive he is at 15 months

Language Receptive 19 months

Language Expressive 20 months

Gross Motor 6 months (only because he can not walk yet)

Fine Motor 17 months

Social & Emotional 17 months

Self Help 22 months

These scores are awesome compared to last year at this time, he has doubled in everything.

Logan is really going to miss them, every time he saw Nora he would call her (Nanny) and he would call Michelle (shell). Thanks for everything you two we are really going to miss you..

After Michelle left we went over a friends house to go swimming, Logan went in the water with me and he was kicking away. The girls got to see there friends they have not see in awhile. We had a really nice time. Then we came home with two extra girls, they wanted there friends to spend the night. So this means no one will be getting any sleep because they will be up all night laughing and telling story's. We are all going to the Museum in the morning so this should be really fun :)

Today there were no Appointments. YEAH.. Just lounging around and cutting my coupons :)
The girls played with there friends all day, While Logan destroyed the house..

So Richard started his new run Monday night were he is home every other day, And every other week he has two days off in a row. It was been really hard. Sure it is a lot more miles, but it does not compare to how much we all miss him. He could have taken a different run but it did not guarantee him working every day and this run does. I love him so much for sacrificing for his family, There is nothing he would not do for us. That is why I love him so much... It makes me sad but I cherish every moment we have together.

Logan is doing great, His Birthday is Sunday and he will be turning 3. Logan has brought such joy into our lives and we thank god everyday for this wonderful miracle. I cannot believe he is going to be three, it seems like just yesterday he was lying on that Hospital bed having open heart surgery. We are having an Elmo Birthday party just a small get together with my parents.

What a busy week we have been having. Last Thursday Logan went to the Doctor to see his Gastrologist for a check-up and everything is great, I needed to get feeding orders since he starts Pre-School on August 30th. The School was unable to give him anything by mouth unless a Doctor wrote orders for it, They do not want to become liable for anything. I cannot remember what we did Friday. Saturday a good friend of ours Son got Baptized, what an awesome little boy.

Saturday night Richard and I took turns with Logan because he was up all night screaming his head off, his night terrors are back again. If he does not wake up during the night he will wake up very early around 4:30 just screaming. I hope it gets better very soon because I am very exhausted.

I have some great news, today Logan had P.T. All by himself using a walker he took 12 steps, I started to cry again, I am just so excited. I really believe in 6 months he will be walking with a walker all by himself. So I called the Doctor and they will be sending a prescription over for a new walker. I cannot wait. He is doing better every week.

Have you seen the commercial for Zoo Pals, they are paper plates. Every time that commercial comes on he gets so excited and mimics everything they sing, it is the cutest thing ever. When the commercial is over he will say "more" so I play it over and over and over :)

Oh I almost forgot Logan just learned to suck out of a straw a few days. I have been working with him on it and he finally mastered it. YEAH FOR LOGAN :) This is such a HUGE accomplishment for him, he will take a few sips from the straw and he will tire out but still I am just floored. He surprises me everyday with what he can do. The littlest things gets me so excited.

Today was a rough day for Logan and myself. For some reason Logan decided to wake up screaming like someone is trying to hurt him at 4:30am. He would not go down for a nap either. I am completely exhausted, I am in for a long night when he gets up this early and has no nap he will wake up every two hours and just scream his head off, I just put him to bed after his feed. He was doing really good and not having any night terrors but for some reason they are back again, and he has been waking up several times during the night.

I just feel so bad for him, he has been so cranky all day today just crying, I can not even leave his sight or he will throw a fit.

This morning he had Speech and O.T., Speech was good he is really trying to say new words everyday. O.T. on the other hand is a different story. Every time he was given an activity to do with help from the Therapist he would just throw the toy down on the ground over and over and over, he was being very defiant today. I could say it had something to do with getting up very early but he has been like this every week.

The girls are doing much better today there attitude has improved greatly, I guess yesterday was just a bad day for them. They had Activity day today and they scrap booked they loved it, They always enjoy scrap booking with me and they do such a great job. Here is a picture of what they each did.

Well I have lots to talk about especially Logan. We had such a great weekend Saturday we went to the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, we had a really good time this was our first time going. Logan really enjoyed it he loved seeing all the fish and shark. I will have to post pictures another day I left my camera at my mom's house. After the Shark Reef we had lunch.

Sunday we made it to Church then we went over a Friends house for a Barbecue.

Today Logan had P.T. and he did fabulous. We worked on Standing and walking the entire hour. He would sit on a stool and I would hold my hands out while he pulled up to stand. Then with help from the therapist she would blow bubbles while Logan would stand up with hardly any help from me, after that she brought in the walker and he stood there with his hands on the walker and took two steps all by himself, at this point I was so excited I started to cry, I could not believe my baby took two steps all by himself. So after that he walked out in the hallway using his walker standing straight up and the therapist would hold his hips, he walked holding on the the walker about 15 feet. We were all so excited. In the past Three weeks he has really made improvement so fast.

Just the other day Elizabeth and Alicia were taking turns holding up Logan so his feet would touch the ground and he would take a few steps, when they put him down he said "more" he wanted to walk some more. I am just so excited at the progress he is making.

It was so funny today in therapy I was blowing bubbles while Logan was standing and one landed on his leg and he says "mean bubble" clear as day we all started to bust out laughing.

The girls call each other mean and he learned it from them.

Speaking of the girls they have been just a pill today, ever since they got up this morning calling each other names, hitting, yelling, fighting. I am so tired of it today so I told them no T.V., WII, Computer or the D.S. I sent them up stairs to clean there room and the loft, then when that's all done they will be reading a few books.

We had a blast on our mini vacation. We left early Friday so we could make a stop in Barstow and shop at the outlet, I just love Old Navy and The Gap. I ended up buying some cute clothes for the kids and some shirts for Richard and myself. We got to my cousins around 5pm, and she made us an awesome dinner. Saturday we went to the Beach and spent the day there it was so nice 77 degrees and the water was cold. I heard it was 113 in Vegas so I am glad we were not there. It was just perfect actually is was kinda cool, wish I would have brought a jacket. We did not go all the way in the water, we just let the waves hit us. The water was just to cold. Logan did so good on this trip, he also loved the Beach, it was his first trip. I bought him a bucket with a shovel and he would scoop his sand in his bucket and had a blast. When his feet first hit the sand he was very unsure it got in between his toes and was like what is this. After awhile he got used to hit and just dove right in. We put his feet in the water for a second and his feet turned blue and purple that is how cold the water was. So he stayed out of the water.

I got burned and so did Richard. I was only in the Sun for half an hour. The girls had such a great time, they want to know when we will be going back :)

Sunday we got up early and went to the swap meet, Victorville has the best swap meet we only stayed for 45 minuets it was just to hot and I was sun burned. We will have to make another trip in the fall when the weather is cooler. After that we headed back to my Aunt's house she has a pool and the girls went swimming all weekend long. We headed home Sunday night. Thanks you guys we had such a great time :)

Monday Logan had P.T. we tried using the walker again with support he did ok, I had to keep telling him to put his hands on the walker.

Tuesday he had Speech and O.T. he got to sit on the swing which he loves doing, they also make him lay on his tummy on the swing so they could get him to lift up his head and he did a pretty good job, I have never seen him raise his head that high before, blowing bubbles helped a little.

Wednesday (today) he had his Cardiologist Appt. He had his EKG and ECHO and the Doctor said everything looked great he still has a minor leaky valve, but it will never go away. I always pray it does not get worse because then we are in trouble. We go back in 6 months.

We have just been really busy around here running errands and everything. The heat is so bad here 111 degrees, today was better only 108 :)

Everyone is doing good around here, we Leave for California in the morning. Richard works tonight but got Friday off so we could go as a family. My Cousin lives in Hesperia and I am really looking forward to seeing her and her daughter my Aunt and Uncle. Saturday we are going to Huntington Beach all day then Sunday morning I wanted to hit the swap meet there in Victorville then come back to my cousin's house and go swimming in her pool. The girls are so excited and this will be Logan's first time going to the Beach. I am hoping Logan will do good on this trip it is only a three hour drive, But Logan has never spent the night anywhere except my Mom's house so I am hoping he will do good. I will post pictures next week when we get back.

Sorry for my lack of posting I promise it will get better. There is so much to catch up on, let's hope I remember it all.

Last week Richard was on vacation all week so we were able to get a lot done with working on the house. The girls went to the movies They saw Toy Story with us and then last Saturday my Mom took them to go see Despicable Me they loved it. They played with all the neighborhood kids on the block.

Richard had to go back to work Monday night and I was very sad it was so nice having him home all week long, I really enjoyed it and so did the kids.

Monday Logan had P.T. this will have been his second time going and as soon as we pulled in the parking lot and I parked the Car he started to cry, he new exactly were he was and what he was going to go do. It was very sad it broke my heart. He has really regressed since he was last seen by his P.T. which was three months ago. He does not like to stand with support or sit in a chair without a table being in front of him.

Tuesday (today) he had Speech and O.T. In Speech he cried the first 10 minuets, I can no longer sit in the waiting room I have to go in the same room with him, (which is not a problem but I am trying to prepare him for Preschool) and he still cries out my name. It is all very sad. I have no idea why he is acting like he is. He is so afraid I am going to abandon him. After crying for 10 minuets he stops and is now happy, he did very good on his flash cards and saying a few new words. We then go into O.T. and he starts to cry again about 20 minuets into therapy he stops. When the therapist does make him stand up with support he screams and cries and throws a tantrum and then throws all of his toys on the floor. I just feel so bad but he does need all of this Therapy. I am so sad thinking he will never walk it brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it. As I wipe my tears away...

I finally have a chance to post, Logan is sleeping, Richard is watching his TV show and the girls with all the neighborhood kids are in our backyard playing. I have been such a slacker this past week on posting on my blog. I cannot even remember what I did last week or even this past Saturday.. See what happens when you get old :) But I do remember what we did Sunday night :) Our Neighbor had a 4th of July party and we had so much fun, ate lots of food, Danced.. well I danced Richard just watched. We were the first ones to leave and it was 11pm thank goodness we live 3 doors down :) We would have stayed later but we all had to get up at 7am.

Monday Logan started his first day of P.T. and you guessed it, it did not go very well at all. It has been three months without P.T. Because the company fired his P.T. So he did the best he could in between crying. After that we went over my Mom's house and she and my Dad watched Logan. My Dad just adores Logan and does not get much of a chance to see him because he works a lot so yesterday was a real treat. Richard and I took the girls to go see Toy Story 3 and it was really good we all enjoyed it and I even had a few tears in my eyes at the end, I am a big softy at heart. After the movies we went back to Grandma's and Richard Barbecued for all of us.

This morning Logan had Speech and O.T. I took him while Richard and the girls organized the Garage, OK Richard organized the garage while the girls looked through the donation box's trying to take stuff out.. He did such a great job when I got home it was all done. We had a car full of things to donate.

When I got home I dropped off Logan then I headed over to the DMV to register our new Car. I went over to the Disabled access only and asked them a question and they told me that Richard had to register the Car or I could take this form back home and have him sign it so I could do it. His name is on the green slip. (I had no idea) Thank goodness I did not stand in that long line I would have been so mad. So tomorrow he will be going to the DMV :) I can't stand going there.

I took Logan to the Doctor yesterday afternoon and he has an Upper Respiratory Infection, Viral Infection, Rhinitis and Pharyngitis. I have been giving him a lot of pedialyte because his urine outtake is not that good. The Doctor prescribed Zithromax. He has been getting up a lot during the night just crying and really congested. Poor little guy. We have just been staying in doors these past couple of weeks trying to keep him healthy.

Today the girls had a Church activity it was Hairstyling and when they were done they had there pictures taken. They had so much fun getting there hair done and it turned out so good, They look so beautiful.

We had a very busy weekend, Saturday we worked on the outside of the house adding more rock and also put in some solar lights up and down both sides of the driveway and walkway. It looks really nice.

Sunday we worked inside the house Richard added baseboards to our Master bath because when we moved in there were none there. The girls and I organized there bedrooms and moved furniture around adding a little more space.

Richard starts his Vacation July 3rd so we will be paint the garage one of those days. And plan on taking the kids out and do stuff with them.

We just found out today Richard's Beaver,UT run got cancelled so he will be on extra board which means he will go were ever there is work. So all this week he will be going to Wickenburg, AZ which is great that is awesome miles. I cannot wait for his Vacation to start we will have him for an entire week.

Logan is SICK AGAIN, he was better for an entire week and got sick again his cough is worse. I have no idea why he is getting sick all the time, I really don't take him anywhere. He has a Doctor's Appointment today at 3:30. I had to cancel his Therapy tomorrow and they told me he might loose his spot if he misses anymore which they tell me all the time. I was like OK I will bring him sick. They said well we don't want you to do that. Well then. So I have to get a Doctor's note saying he is to sick to go to therapy. I swear....

Logan had Therapy today, he did good in Speech. His Therapist uses the Kaufman Flash Cards and really tries hard at pronouncing the words he sees.

O.T. he cried so I had to go in and sit there while he did his therapy, He really needs to be seen twice a week but she is completely booked so Logan will be put on a waiting list when an extra day becomes available.

For some reason Logan has this fear of falling when he sits in a child's chair he freaks out, but if he is in a chair with a table in front of him he is fine. This just started up recently and I have no idea why. Also when I sit on the couch and I put him on my lap facing me he freaks out he is afraid he will fall down.

Another concern is when he chews food he does not chew very well he will take a bite chew once or twice and then swallow. Today she gave him a piece of Licorice to see if he would chew it and he just took a couple of licks and that was it. He will almost eat anything by mouth, but he does have texture problems if that makes any sense at all. So we will be concentrating on that also.

Almost forgot Logan ate 4oz of vanilla pudding in Therapy.... way to go Logan :)

WOW what a day it was, the girls had so much fun and they really made out, Gift cards, Money, Jewelry, Jewelry Boxes. My mom made the girls jewelry boxes they turned out so cute, it is something truly to treasure for years to come. Richard and I got the girls Nintendo WII w/gaming accessories, case and sonic unleashed.

Everyone came and had tons of fun, after 2 1/2 hours of skating the girls were ready to go home bruises and all. We had some family come in from California and after the party we came back to our house and Richard Bar b qued. I was so tired by the end of the day.

Today the kids and I made it out to Church, Logan was in Nursery for 2 hours and he did pretty good, fussed on and off for a little bit but was fine. We came home and Richard just woke up and is getting ready to leave for work, unfortunately he has to work today. Before he left for work he was able to set up the WII for the girls so they are playing with that right now.

Logan is doing great back to his normal self throwing toys and tantrums and being a little cutie pie. His Nurse was able to come over yesterday and watch him so I could concentrate on the girls and there special day.

I also wanted to wish my Husband a Happy Fathers Day. When I look at you being a Dad to our Children my heart swells with gratitude and pride, I feel so blessed to have a Husband like you. I am so thankful that my children are blessed with a Father as caring, thoughtful, and supportive as you. I want to thank you for always putting our children's interest first. We love you from the bottom of our hearts.

I cannot believe my little girls are already nine today they grow up so fast right before your eyes. We have a big day planned. They are having there Party at the Skating Rink from 12-2 and all of there friends are coming they are so excited. Then at 3 we have family coming over to celebrate and open more gifts. We are having a Bar B Que hamburger's and hot dogs and all the fixens.
I feel so bad for Richard he got home this morning and will only get about 2 hours of sleep.

This morning Logan had an appointment with Dr Stewart his Orthopedic, every time we go there he says the same thing it does not look like Logan will need surgery for his legs and he does not know if Logan will walk. While the Surgery part is great, I am a very optimistic Mother and I believe my son will walk some day. The Doctors have been wrong with Logan in the past. He gave us a Prescription to get him a walker/stroller chair for him to use while he is in School.
Since his AFO's (leg braces) were getting to small they fitted him for another pair, we should have those in about 4 weeks.

We then came home had lunch Logan got to take a little nap and out we go again I called the pediatrician and was able to get him in. Logan is still not feeling well and has been very cranky these past few days, He was up at 2am this morning just screaming and did not want to go back to sleep. After an hour of screaming I put him down he fussed for a little bit and then started talking to him self, then up again for good at 5am. The Doctor said he does not have an ear infection which totally shocked me. He has Pharyngitis and Stomatitis he gave me a script for it. So hopefully he will be feeling better real soon.

Alicia and I are doing so much better which is good because Logan keeps me up a lot at night.

Richard is doing good he has been out of town and hopes to be back by Saturday morning for the girls Birthday party.

I took the girls to the park on Saturday came home and a couple of hours later started feel sick. I am feeling much better no fever just cough congestion a very runny nose I look like Rudolph, it is so sore. Alicia also got sick. So we have a house full of sick people. We are starting to feel a lot better. But Logan still has a runny nose and has been fussing all morning long. I had to cancel his Therapy today. The girls are having there ninth Birthday party at the skating rink Saturday so hopefully everyone will feel 100% by the end of the week. I have Logan sitting on my lap right now crying so I better get going...

at the end of the day it looks like a tornado hit my
family room, this is nothing.

Logan does have a cold, poor little guy. He was up a lot last night just crying. He finally fell asleep around 1am and was up at 6:30am. His Respite Nurse will be coming over in the morning to watch him while I take the girls out to the park and do a few errands. It was a really nice day today only 86 and tomorrow will be 78. I will be able to turn my air off and open up the windows. I am taking this opportunity to take them to the park before it reaches 102 in a few days :(

78 degrees is not heard of in Vegas in June.

So we bought our new House in October of last year we bought all new appliances except a dryer. A friend had one a did not need it anymore so we took it off her hands, well it stopped working so I had to buy a new one. I was looking at Home Depot and I found one I loved it's a Maytag Centennial 7.0 cu. ft. If you need a new dryer I highly recommend this one. The only down side is the Dryer door is a little low for me, but I am 6'3. Other than that I love it.

I finally got a chance to take some photos of Logan he is such a little stinker lately he has been throwing all of his toys, he thinks its really funny and he loves to hide the remote control under the couch or anywhere we cannot find it. I caught him hiding a toy under the couch and I had to snap a picture. I was just watching him and laughing.

Also he thinks it is funny to try and stand on his head and throw toys in between his legs.

My handsome Husband is working this weekend so it is just me and my wonderful kids :)

Tuesday Logan went to Child Find again to be evaluated by the School Physiologist, Nurse and then Speech. They asked a million questions and every single person asked the same thing which can be very irritating. Logan did really well but when it came to seeing the Speech Therapist toward the end he just started to cry he was hungry and tired, 3 hours of being there really took it's toll on him. As soon as I put him in the car and left he passed right out. We go back in July for the results.

Yesterday Logan had Therapy, after that we went over my Mom's house and spent the day over there and had Dinner, Richard was out of town so I thought why not.

Logan is feeling a little under the weather, I am not sure if he has a cold or it's allergy's. His nose is running, he is congested and he has been throwing up.

Elizabeth had her Doctors appointment today to see her Asthma/Allergist she is doing great. The last time she wheezed was in April so he is lowering her Advair dose from 115/21 to 45/21 and she does not have to take Nasonex for awhile he wants to see how she will do. In a few months he wants to take her off of Singular Chewable tab and put her on a Zyrtec Pill.

Today we got a New Car we traded in our 06 Izuzu Ascender and got a 2010 Chevy Traverse LT fully loaded we love it actually it is my car and I am in love with it :) It does so much.

HOT HOT HOT....

Today Logan had his O.T. and P.T. Evaluation at Child Find, He will be starting Preschool August 30th, and this is part of the process to see where he is at.

I found out that I will have to go and see Logan's Cardiologist and Gastrologist to have them fill out forms. When he starts school, there are food limitations. Logan can only eat certain foods by mouth and unless I go to the Gastro Doctor and have them fill out this form that says Logan can eat by mouth and that he can have crackers or a sandwich. If not then he will not be able to eat anything by mouth. I think it is ridiculous that they can not go by my word that they have to have it written by a Doctor.

For the Evaluation they gave him toys to play with, blocks to stack and tried to get him to stand and fitted him for a Stroller Chair to use in School because he can not walk or sit in a chair by himself, and to use for the Bus (which I am not sure he will be taking any time soon). And ask hundreds of questions. He did really good no tantrums or meltdowns. We go back tomorrow morning to see the nurse and other people, and answer more questions which is a 3 hour process. After all this is done we go back sometime next month to get the results.

The girls are doing good, I do not have anything planned this summer for them. So far they have been playing with there toys, playing video games and driving me crazy. There best Friend from a couple of doors down is out of town and will be back on the 14th. So they have been bored and I have been dragging them with me to all of Logan's Appointments. My Mom will be watching them tomorrow so they won't be that bored :)

Well Memorial Day was the day the heat began. We have had such nice weather all Spring and now it is ALL OVER Saturday it will be 107. OK I will admit I am very spoiled when it comes to the A.C. I DO NOT GO OUTSIDE... I get up early and try my best to get everything done in the morning before 11am. I love the A.C. and it loves me.... Well Thursday it was only 98 so late in the afternoon under our big umbrella I took Logan outside and he went in his kiddie pool for about an hour, he loves the water and could stay in it all day if I let him. He did not have a nap this day and was up at 5:30am, so at the end of the day he was so tired (See photos above)

Every Friday our Church has Activity days with the toddlers and today it was at someones house and they have a nice big pool. We swam for 2 hours with lots of sun tan lotion on. The girls had a blast and Logan and I also had a great time. Nobody got burnt except right under Logan's eyes is a little red but he is just fine.

Saturday Logan's respite nurse is coming over and I will be doing lots of running around, It will be so easy. Let me tell you Logan is getting so big he now weighs 30 lbs 4oz. It is really becoming hard to carry him around everywhere, sure I use a stroller but at home I cannot. By the end of the day my right arm and back are just killing me. So when his nurse has a chance to come over and watch him I am so thankful. The girls also want to come with me. They have been saving up there allowance and want to buy some girly things.

We had such a great weekend, we hope you did to..
Thursday night Richard had to go out of town again and he was back on Saturday morning just in time for our Bar B Que. We had a lot of our Neighbors and friends over and we had a great time ate lots of food and chit chated all afternoon into the night. Sunday we just relaxed all day and did nothing... oh we did spend some good quality family time together and my Parents came over for Dinner. Monday we all walked around the Neighborhood got in some exercise then went over to our neighbors house and had Pizza and Cake, we celebrated his Birthday.

Now it is back to the grind stone the Girls last day of School is Wednesday it will be half day they get out at 12:20, They are so excited and so am I no homework for 3 months :)

Today Logan has O.T. at 11am and Speech at 2pm so in between appointments we will go over my Mom's house to waste time, then head on over to the girls School to pick them up.

Here are some pictures of Alicia and her class at there Class play "The Cheetah And The Sloth". They also acted out some commercials in between the play. Alicia was in one of them. She did so good she even remember her lines.

Today at School Elizabeth will get recognized for her Academic Achievement, during Lunch time she will have a Pizza Lunch with the Principal. She has no idea it is a total surprise. I am so proud of her. She has worked so hard this School year.

The girls Birthday is just around the corner, they want to have it at the Skating Rink, they are so excited to have there friends come and skate with them. I cannot believe they are going to be nine. Time has flown by so fast I remember like it was yesterday when they were born.

Logan is doing awesome. Nora and Michelle came over yesterday for Therapy. They are trying to get him to climb up the stairs and Logan thinks it is the funniest thing when it is time to turn around to go down he will slide his but down the stairs one at a time and just laugh hysterically. I swear Logan was laughing all during Therapy yesterday I think he loves Nora she has never seen him so happy...

I thought I would post something quick, I am eating a lunchable right now because I am about to head out the door again. Logan had Therapy today he is doing good in Speech he is saying small words but spacing them out when he says them. He will say out "ou t". At least he is saying the word he will eventually put it all together.
In O.T. he was very cranky throwing toys and not listening. Of course he was up at 4am this morning talking to himself then started to cry because I was ignoring him and not coming to get him. He has been waking up this early a lot lately and I have no idea why. I have him on a Schedule every day and we stick to it minus a few missed naps during the day because we just don't have the time.
When Logan gets done eating we are going over to the girls School Alicia has another play today. I could not get any pictures from the play last week there were to many people and they were not in site. Today is just Alicia's class doing a play she is so excited.

Everyone is doing great around here we are having a big Bar B Que get together at our house on Saturday our neighbors and Friends from Richard's work are coming we expect a big turn out, so if you are in the area come on by we would love to have you.

I have been really busy with the kids and school stuff. Wednesday night the girls are both in a School Play called The Cheetah And The Sloth. I will try and get some good pictures. They also have another School play next week.
So they have been going to a lot of Dress Rehearsals, and I have been one busy Mom.
Logan had Speech and O.T. today he did very good, he has been going in the room by himself for the past few weeks and no crying. I think we have reached a mile stone here.

After Sacrament Sunday at Church I decided to take Logan to the Nursery to see how he would do. I stayed there for about 15 minuets and then I left to go to my class. He did great for about 45 minutes then he started to cry so I went in there and stayed the rest of the time. It was around 1pm and he started to throw a tantrum and it was also nap time that is probably why he started to cry. But the time he was in there was for a good period I was so happy he did so well for being his first time in there.

Alicia had a Doctor's Appt. today we are trying to find the right meds for her for her A.D.D. This will be our third time trying a different medication. He put her on Concerta so we will see what happens.

Sorry Mom and Dad I have not posted in a few days, I have been so busy with running around doing errands taking Logan to Therapy and trying to get the car fixed. Making sure the kids have what they need for School this week.
I went to Walmart to do some Grocery shopping on Saturday and while I was there I decided to get my Oil changed, well ever since then it has been leaking oil so this morning I took it in and they said the dish pan had oil in it and it was never cleaned. So this is why it is leaking so they cleaned the pan and supposedly this is the problem. I will have to keep an eye out and see if it worked.
Tomorrow Alicia has an Eye Doctors appt. She has been saying it is hard to see the Chalkboard.
Logan has O.T. in the morning, he normally has it on Tuesday's but the O.T. had to reschedule.
Friday I have a Doctors appointment it has been a year since my last Physical so I am going to have an E.K.G. some blood work done and some other tests.

I asked Richard to take the weekend off so we could spend some quality time together just me and him, We really need it. It has been awhile since we have done something by ourselves. I have been really stressed out lately with the kids and everything so I am really looking forward to it. My Mom is going to watch the kids for us. We are going to the movies to go see Iron Man and just do what ever afterwards.

I better get going Logan just woke up from his nap and it is time to eat. Thanks for checking in on us.

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mom's out there.

These past few days have just been crazy, I can't even remember what I did. So I will tell you what I did this weekend. Saturday I had Logan's Respite Nurse over to watch all the kids while I went out and did a lot of running around. Richard worked this weekend but was able to make it home this morning. His knees have been bothering him and Elizabeth was not feeling well this morning so Alicia and I went to Church. They had a wonderful Sacrament where the primary sang, Alicia did such a great job. Then after Sacrament all of the women received a small bag of cookies. It was very nice. I came home and took an hour nap and we all just got back from going out to dinner. Richard came home with beautiful roses for me. It was so sweet. I love him dearly.
This week is another busy week with appointments. Hope everyone has a great week.

Yesterday Logan had Speech and Occupational Therapy in the Community. For the first time ever Logan went to both sessions all by him self while I waited in the waiting area, I was so excited he never cried and only asked for me twice. This is so huge we are moving in the right direction. I am trying to prepare him for Preschool when he starts in August. We will try this again next Tuesday and see how things go.

After School the girls had Church Activity and they were there for 2 hours and made crafts for Mothers Day, they made me a card it was so sweet. At School Alicia made a fake flower arrangement for me. Elizabeth will bring home her Mothers Day gift later in the week.

This morning Logan's D.S. from N.E.I.S. is coming over to work with him, we are going to show her how Logan can Crawl....

Everyone is doing pretty good around here, I am not sure if Logan is coming down with a cold or it's allergy's but he has a runny nose and is congested.

The girls have a Birthday Party to go to Saturday afternoon and I will have Logan's Respite Nurse over Saturday morning so she can watch the kids I have a ton of errands to do.

What a weekend this has been so far. The girls had a friend sleep over last night and they did not fall asleep until 12:30 am and Logan decided to wake me up at 5:30am this morning so I am exhausted and my day has just begun...

Friday my Mom came over and we went shopping all day, I had alot of errands to do and mom came along for the ride. We got home after being gone all day so before I put him in his chair to eat I let him play on the floor and all of a sudden he gets on his knees and starts to crawl. He has been getting on his hands and knees in a crawling position alot these past few months but he just rocks back and forth and does not move forward, well Friday was the day he decided to try it out, I was able to get in on video. He sort of is crawling anyway.

Friday while I was out shopping I went to Toys R Us and picked up Logan a Little Tikes Table and Chair set with some wood blocks, When I got home and took everything out of the box and put him in his chair his face just lit up of excitement it was so priceless it was worth every penny of course being the Coupon Queen that I am after sales and coupons I only paid $26.00 and it was regularly $50.00, I was so proud of myself I did so good :)

Logan just loves to stack things and he his pretty good at. Now I can help him stand up and play at the table at the same time, make him work without him even knowing it :)

Oh and Logan has stopped calling me Mama and now calls me Mommy, it just melts my heart every time he says it.

Saturday the girls had there big day and they were Baptised and today they are being confirmed a member in Church today in Sacrament. The girls were so excited they received several gifts from friends and family. Tonight we are all going out to dinner to Olive Garden to celebrate.

Other than that it has pretty much been crazy around here.

Richard took the girls to Circus Circus Adventure Dome over the weekend while he was there he saw a T-Shirt that had Elmo on it, Well Logan just adores Elmo so Richard had a shirt made with Elmo and had his name put on it. It turned out so cute...

Today I was running around all day doing errands and taking Logan to Therapy. Today he went to Speech all by himself I did not have to go in the room with him, he did so good not crying for me. The Therapist said he did call my name every 5 seconds but what an improvement lets see if this happens again next week :) O.T went pretty good here are a few pictures to show you all. He loves Bubbles so in order to get him to put pressure on his hands she has him lay on the swing. It worked pretty good for a few minutes but then he started crying. I think his stomach was upset because he threw up several hours before.

Logan starts his 60 hour diet again Wednesday to Friday. He has been doing pretty good at eating more food every time. So we will see what happens.

What a very busy weekend. We have been planting some more plants in our front yard adding more curb appeal. We added two palm trees and two shrubs. We are going to order some rock to put in our front yard and the side of the house, there is already some there but we need to add more to fill in the emptiness.
Richard took the girls and went with a Neighbor friend to Circus Circus Adventure doom. This place is so cool they have tons of rides and roller coasters and the girls will even get on the scary rides. Logan and I stayed home, I put him down for a nap 3 hours ago and I think I finally here him stirring.

Logan is so cute, I have been teaching him what "COLD" means. This past week it has been in the high 50's and very Windy, to Cold for him to go outside and play on the swing and Trampoline, so I have been trying to teach him it is to cold to go outside. Well the other day I got him up from his nap and I was changing his Diaper. I used a baby wipe to wipe his bottom, he goes and says to me Mommy "Col" meaning cold. I was like you are so smart that is right the wipey is cold. I thought that was so neat he new the difference.

Yesterday and Today the girls had Activity Day Camp at Church from 4:00 to 7:15pm. They are having such a great time they eat dinner there and they have lots of activities for them to do Yesterday they made a Marshmallow gun, Tie Die T-shirt with the Primary Colors Blue, Red and Yellow. They also put a plant in a two liter bottle, Then they made some blocks and colored them. Today they have five more activities they will be doing I cannot remember them all. It is a learning experience for them.

Logan is so funny, Huggies Pull Ups has this song that comes on the T.V. called "Do the Potty Dance" and every time it comes on he dances to it the best he can, I took a video of it this morning he is to funny. He comes scooting to the T.V. every time he hears it. Don't forget to turn up the sound... Sorry I did not have the T.V. up loud enough.

Logan had Speech and O.T this morning in the community, He did really good in Speech when it was time to say good by I told Logan to say to his Speech therapist "See you Later" if you listened very carefully he said it and the Speech Therapist was amazed. His words just kind of ran together, but it was great.
Occupational Therapy was completely different he was very defiant with his Therapist not doing what he was told and throwing toys, not putting things were they should be, he was just a little stinker. He did make up for it when he ate all of his pudding all 4 oz.

Richard is out of town again this is becoming a habit which I do not like. But I cannot complain much because he has a Job and I am very thankful for that. I just really miss him. Tackling everything at night by myself is a challenge especially when Alicia has been a challenge lately her attitude has been really bad these past few months and her anger issues. I have been doing lots of praying and trying to have lots of Patience. As a friend of mine said "Patience Patience Patience".

I am starting to feel alot better just a little runny nose and congestion, but all is good.

We had a nice and relaxing weekend. We actually made it out to Church Yesterday and it was very embarrassing for me anyway. Logan was doing great and then I go into Relief Society and he starts to fuss so I put him in the chair next to me and I turn away for a second and he pushes himself back and falls right through the chair hitting his head on the wall. Every women in there turns there head and says OOOHHH, I felt like the worst Mother ever. So I get up and take him outside and on my way out the door I ended up hitting the wall and end up turning all the lights off in the room so I try to turn them back on but am having a hard time so I just walk out the door. We have been inactive for awhile and this is our first time going back to Church in our new Ward. What a way to make an impression. I think they will never forget who I am :)

So the girls are getting Baptized May 1st @ 3pm on a Saturday, we are very excited Richard will be doing the Baptism.

I have been feeling like crap all week and getting worse so after I took the kids to School this morning I decided to go to the Doctors office and I find out I have a Sinus Infection, that explains everything. So they gave me a shot in the arm and gave me three prescriptions. Eye drops, Allergy pill and Nasal Spray which tastes nasty. It says on the box to bring your head forward and spray which I did, But the taste still got into my mouth and it took an hour for it to go away. YUCK.... I could not sleep at all last night, so I was able to take a nap when Logan did today and I am starting to feel some relief. Thank goodness. I look awful red itchy puffy eyes, sore red runny nose and Congestion.

Well I still have the Yuckies, Logan is feeling better, Alicia was a pain in the butt yesterday but I still love her to death. Richard is finally home this morning. That about sums it all up....

Last night the School had a Science fair so I took the kids and the girls showed me there exhibit. Both of there classes won first place. Then we all went out to the blacktop outside and we were supposed to see stars through the Kaleidoscope but it was to cloudy, that was a real bummer and let down.

Today after School I will be taking Elizabeth to the Eye Doctor, she has been saying that she has a hard time seeing the Chalkboard and alot of other things. So she probably just needs a stronger prescription.

Richard will be working this weekend and we have a Birthday Party to go to on Saturday for one of the girls friends.

This week is just flying by so fast... Richard left last night at 11pm to Tucson, AZ I have no idea when he will be back home, Hopefully he will not be gone all week again.

Logan gave me his yuckies I am now congested and have a runny nose, I have been taking over the counter medication and it seems to be working.

I was at Home Depot the other day we had to get a new screen door for the back sliding door and new Blinds for the back sliding door, while I was there I was looking at Security Screen Doors for the front door and they are running a special right now on Installation so I gave them my Deposit and they came out this morning to measure for it. I am really excited to have it installed this way I will be able to get a cross breeze going and by Electric bill will not be so high this Summer ( I am hoping anyway). I will be going over to Home Depot tomorrow to pick it out.

Logan had Speech and O.T. Yesterday morning he is doing so good. Oh I have a story to tell. I got a call from the Company were Logan has Therapy and I was told that they fired Logan's Physical Therapist and he will no longer have P.T. until Sometime in June. I was like what I loved his P.T. Jen she was so nice and good with Logan and he also liked her. This is the third P.T. we have been through, and I also had a talk with the owner to let him know how I felt about it and he told me that he was sorry and he had to fire her because they could not come to an agreement. So now they only have one P.T. working there part time and they do have 6 more P.T. that they hired but will not start until June. Well that does not help me now my gosh my son cannot even walk or crawl yet and you are taking this away from him. I was very mad and I let the owner new I was. So for now I will do the best I can for him at home with what I have which is not much.

I am so excited the girls are finally getting Baptized on Saturday May 1st. They have taken all of the missionary lessons and are ready. I am very proud of them.

Well I finally figured out out to post a video on Blogger, I am so proud of myself :) Now I will be doing it all the time...

The Girls and Richard went and got there Hair Cut today. Alicia just had about 1 1/2 inches cut off. But Elizabeth had several inches taken off and it was layered, I just love her new hair cut it is so cute.

Everyone is doing really good. Logan's allergies are still affecting him so we have been giving him Zyrtec and Singular.

Logan said the cutest thing this morning, I went and did my weekly shopping at CVS and when I was in the Car sitting in the parking lot I was looking at my receipt and Logan goes and says Mama GO, Mama GO I was like what did you just say. I could not believe he said that I was so excited. He is so smart :)

Logan's Developmental Specialist came over this morning from N.E.I.S Logan had his 6 month I.E.P. review. His outcome is going to stay the same. Nothing has really changed in six months except he is babbling more and saying more words. Wait that is something huge.

Richard has not been home in 2 days, they have him shuttling around everywhere. Arizona, Utah and California. I am hoping he will be home tomorrow.

He just gets so excited when you say "you want to go outside and play" his face just lights up. He loves going outside. Wow what a week. Monday I was in a funky mood and did not feel like doing anything so I just laid around the house.

Logan started his 60 hour diet again were he only eats by mouth and his tube feedings are all Pedialyte instead of formula, he did pretty good about the same as last time. Shirley came over today to weigh him and he only lost 1/2 lb. We will do this again in 3 weeks. We are doing this about every three weeks our goal is to get him to get used to eating more by mouth so we can get rid of this G-tube. I am hoping in a year or so.

Tuesday I was doing much better thank goodness because it was a busy day. Logan and I took the girls to School then we headed off to Therapy in the Community he had Speech and O.T. he did such a great job in Speech he is starting to say more and more words. In O.T. Logan always eats pudding, he will feed himself this is part of Therapy. He ate the entire container of Chocolate pudding 4 oz. Way to go Logan. Also while in O.T. he was able to match his colors he would put the Yellow with the Yellow and so on. He is just making leaps and bounds.

Then I dropped him off at my Mom's house and I went to go get my Haircut, I love my new haircut. Then I Picked up Logan from My Mom's house headed on over to the School to pick up the girls came home had a snack and out the door we go again. The girls had a Church Activity at someones house it was about exercising and trying to keep your body in shape. They had alot of fun.

Today I cleaned the entire house from top to bottom, my Mom came over and watched Logan for me so I could get it all done today with out distractions. I also have about 10 loads of Laundry to do today. I always feel great when I have a clean house :)

Richard is in Phoenix and should be home tomorrow.

Logan has been feeling crappy these past few days, I am not sure if it is Allergies or he is sick. He has no fever just a runny nose and congestion. I am thinking Allergies because it has been so darn windy her lately, Alicia and Elizabeth are both having problems with there Allergies also. Last night Logan woke up every hour just screaming and throwing tantrums. He finally took a nap today. The little booger has not been taking naps these past few weeks he will just lay in his crib and talk to himself for an hour then I go up and get him and later on he is a crab.

I hope he is not out growing his naps, I know the girls did when they were 2 1/2 years old. I am not ready for that :)

Logan went to the Cardiologist Friday for his check-up and everything looks great, He is sating in the low 90's since his Heart Cath March 1st. And that is perfect for Logan. He is 31 lbs and almost 39 inches long.

I asked the Doctor if Logan will need to have another Surgery because his Artery is very narrow and not alot of blood is flowing through. They would have to go in and put in a stint to widen it so more blood can flow through. He said he can not tell it is to soon. He will go in and do another Heart Cath in 2 years to see how he is doing. If they do have to go in and put the Stint in they would do it during the Heart Cath, very rarely do they have to open the chest up only during extreme circumstances. So now we just wait and only time will tell. His next check-up is in 4 months.

Logan is just doing awesome he is now saying two word sentences. My Momma, My Dada, My Nana, My Baby, Mama Ball. The kids and my Mom and I went to Claim Jumpers for Lunch yesterday and I gave Logan some crayons to color with, he is still learning to hold the crayon and color he scribbles just a little bit. I gave him three crayons and I kept counting them using my fingers 1, 2, 3 over and over and over well right before we were going to leave I said one and then Logan would say two and hold up one finger. It was the cutest thing I was so amazed my jaw just dropped and I got so excited even though he said two and held up one finger even though it was wrong he understood what I was doing. Logan is really starting to copy alot of what we say, when he does copy he will not say the complete word but we know what he is saying. Last week while in the car Alicia was not being very nice and called her Sister mean, Logan heard that and he said "Mea". Minus the "n". He is just so cute and full of life.

For Easter we will be going over my Mom's house to have an early dinner and have an Easter Egg hunt. This morning the girls colored there eggs and tomorrow we will play Polk Polk with them. Richard is working and will be home tomorrow.

Logan had Speech and Occupational Therapy in the community on Tuesday, The Speech therapist says he is doing pretty good. He is really copying everything you say.
Alot has been going on in this household, Elizabeth is in big trouble and on restriction until Sunday night I will not go into details because I am so mad. And Logan has been a pain in the butt these past few days his temper has really gotten to me this morning. I have just had it with all that has been going on. I went to take him to get his haircut and he just screamed and flopping around like a fish and hitting me. He has been doing that alot lately this week just smacking me as hard as he can and when he does that over and over it really gets to me.

Anyway I took Alicia to the movies yesterday and we saw "How to Train your Dragon". It was very cute and funny we both enjoyed it. I then took her to Burger King and we had lunch and I let her play there for awhile. Today I have no idea what we are going to do. Logan's D.S. from N.E.I.S is coming over this morning to work with him for an hour.

Hope everyone enjoyed there weekend. Not much went on around here. Saturday I was out all day running errands. Logan decided he did not want to take a nap and kept me up for several hours Saturday night. When he does not take a nap he makes me pay for it during the night. I think that is so generous of him.

Sunday afternoon we were invited over to our next door Neighbors house, It was a block party. Bring a dish & Soda, they supplied the Hamburgers and Hot dogs. We had alot of fun we are always getting together with our neighbors. So I said I will host next month.
We never did this kind of thing were we used to live. Heck I never even new my neighbors and I lived there for 4 years. We were only close to one Neighbor who lived next door to us and that is it. But here everyone knows everyone and we all look out for each other. I think it's great. All the kids play together while the adults chit chat. We all sit in the Driveway and Bar B Que. It was a very nice day yesterday.

Today we are just hanging out at home. I will be putting Logan down for a nap shortly, and when he gets up I will be taking them all to the Park for a few hours to get them out of the house.

Today Logan had Physical Therapy and it went pretty good, I tried leaving him alone by himself with the Therapist and he just started screaming. He has been seeing this Therapist for awhile now and he still will not let me leave the room. I am trying to prepare him for Preschool which he starts the end of August. So I thought lets give him some practice of being somewhere with out me, and it was a no go. Logan is very attached at the hip with me. He is going to hate it when he starts School.

Today Logan did alot of walking with support and he is getting a little better each time. The stander he uses at home really helps with that.

The girls are doing good. They are very excited that today is the last day of School. SPRING BREAK YEAH!!! One week off. I am looking forward to spending some time with them. So hopefully we will have a good week next week.
